Rani was shocked, but followed in after Kion.
Kion felt a little more confident now. He felt like he could do anything.
Rani layed down in the den, but felt someone else wrapped around her. "Kion! What are you doing!" Rani shouted. "It's cold. I'm keeping a friend warm," He smiled. Rani nodded and layed her head back down.
Kion wrapped his arms around her. He was trying to tell Rani he didn't want to be friends anymore. He wanted to be mates. But before he could ask, Rani fell asleep. Kion groaned. He fell asleep, Rani in his arms.
The next morning, Rani felt something warm around her. She realized it was Kion. She jumped up. Kion was still asleep.
Rani heard giggling. She turned around to see Kion's sister, and the other lionesses. "W-Whats so funny?" Rani asked nervously.
"My brother. I think he has a thing for you," Kiara chuckled. "You're funny Kiara. No he doesn't he knows that we are just friends," Rani replied.
"Yeah. If you're 'just friends'," Then how do you explain Kion's flirting, or him trying to sleep with you last night. Oh and for the record," Kiara went into a whisper, "I think he wanted to do more than just sleep."
Rani froze. "No, Kion only thinks of me as a friend," She growled. "Believe what you want," Kiara and the other lionesses walked away.
Rani turned to Kion, still sleeping, thank goodness. Kiara's words stuck in her head though.
Kion started to shift awake. He opened his eyes. "Oh hi Rani," He smiled and stood up. "H-Hi Kion," Rani stampered.
"You ok?" Kion asked. Rani nodded. "Ok. Let's go," Kion smiled. "Go where?" Rani asked. "Outside where else would you go?" Kion raised an eyebrow. Rani shrugged. Kion walked past her. Rani followed him.
Kion and Rani stalked some gazelle. Rani made the first kill. Before Kion could, he was interuppted.
"KION!" Kion turned around to see his dad. "Can I borrow Kion for a second?" Simba asked. "Yea sure," Rani smiled. Kion winked at Rani, which left Rani in shock. Kion followed his dad out.
"What's up dad?" Kion asked. "Nothing. Just checking up on you," Simba replied. Kion frowned, "Seriously." "What I can't check up on my son," Simba asked.
"No! I'm trying to tell Rani I like her, but when I was nearly there, you interuppt," Kion growled.
"Oh sorry about that," Simba apologized. Kion glared at him. "Alright I'm leaving," Simba chuckled. He walked away.
Kion turned to Rani, "Jeez he's annoying." "Yeah he is," Rani chuckled.
Kion walked closer to Rani. "Rani, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." "Sure what is it?" Rani replied.
"I uh. I don't want to be just friends anymore," Kion said. Rani gasped. "I want to be mates," Kion finished.
Rani stared at him in shock. Kion waited.
"But, were bestfriends," Rani stated. "I don't know if you've noticed Rani, but ever since we were cubs I've been flirting with you," Kion explained.
"Please Rani," Kion looked her in the eyes.
