Kion and Rani: The Same Pride

Chapter 8: Anything For forgiveness

Rani stopped crying. The tears wouldn't help with anything. She needed to do something.

Rani would do anything to get her friendship back with Kion. She walked inside Priderock. Kion was sleeping by himself at the back.

Rani approached him, "Kion?" Kion looked up and rolled his eye's. "Kion, I will do anything to get our friendship back. Please!" Rani begged.

"You blew it Rani. Sorry," Kion walked past her. Rani wasn't going to give up easy. She waited for Kion to walk out. Then she also walked out.

Rani went hunting. She stalked a zebra, Kion's favorite food. She ran to it, but tripped, someone caught her. The zebra ran away. Rani looked up at who saved her, Kion.

Kion dropped her to the ground, "What are you doing here Rani?" He asked with an eyeroll. "Well I was hunting for you," Rani replied. "Well don't. And watch where your walking. I don't want to be your savior all the time," Kion growled and walked away.

Rani ran after him, "Kion please! I hate not being friends anymore!" Rani cried. Kion turned around. Rani wrapped her arms around him, and cried into his chest. "Please Kion," Rani begged.

Kion saw how upset Rani was. He also did miss their friendship, even though he wanted to be more than friends.

"Alright," Kion replied. Rani looked up at him, "Really!" Kion smiled, "Yeah. I was also pretty miserable not being friends with you." Rani tightend her hug. "Rani..you're squeezing me to hard!" Kion shouted. "Oh sorry," Rani let him go. Kion gasped for breath.

"You ok?" Rani asked with a chuckle. "Yep..fine," Kion said, still getting his breath. Rani hugged him again, this time, not so hard.

Kion smiled and hugged her back. Rani looked him in the eyes, "Friends?" Kion sighed in his head, but smiled on the outside, "Friends."

"C'mon, let's go back," Rani said. Kion nodded and followed her.
