John looked at her incredulously and scoffed and stormed out of the medbay. Evelina watched and muttered something in Gallifreyan. She said under her breath: "idiot." Then she set to work running tests. After a while she said: "I don't believe it. This is crazy. It shouldn't even be possible. Your legs should have been crushed by the weight of that beam. I don't believe it." Then Evelina ran out of the medbay and said: "John!" John came out of the stockroom and said: "what is it?" Evelina said: "that girl's legs should have been crushed by the weight of that beam. But get this. Her legs showed no broken bones at all. That's not all. She has two hearts. She's either a hybrid or a full blown Time Lord." John said: "wow. So, what do we do?" Evelina said: "we find out what her abilities are and train her. It's been my experience that young Time Lords that don't know their abilities and have no training tend to be more volatile. Because they have raw power in them and have no control." John nodded and said: "of course. That sounds like a good course of action." Evelina said: "for right now, she needs to rest. I don't know how long she was down there like that. And I don't want to find out." John said: "neither do I. I'll go talk to her." Evelina nodded and said: "I'm going to the library." John nodded. Then Evelina super speed ran to the library. She reached the library and ran in. She stopped and found Lorelai sitting up, crying. Evelina walked over and sat down and said gently: "hey. What's wrong, sweetie?" Lorelai launched herself into Evelina's arms. Evelina was taken by surprise. Lorelai sobbed into Evelina's shirt. Evelina spoke soothingly to her. Lorelai said through tears: "I had a bad dream. And you weren't here." Evelina gently stroked her hair and said gently: "shhhh. It's okay. I'm here now. As for why I wasn't here, I had to find out what caused those tremors. I was the only one that wasn't unconscious that knows how to work a TARDIS. Your parents were knocked out by the tremors. They're fine health wise. But I had to make sure nobody was critically injured. I worked as a nurse and a Doctor for a while. I'm a fully certified Doctor." Lorelai said through tears: "that's a good reason not to be here. You were doing your job as a Doctor. I understand." Evelina got an idea. She said: "how would you like to learn how to be a nurse? You could be my assistant." Lorelai perked up and said: "yeah. I like that idea."
