John smiled softly and gently stroked Lorelai's hair. Lorelai snuggled into his touch. Rose smiled and said: "this is so adorable." John smiled softly and said: "I never thought that I'd find myself with a child on my lap. But hey." Then Rose turned to face the console and set course for Lothal and flipped several switches and pushed the lever forward and made the jump to hyperspace. Then Rose looked at John and smirked and said: "okay, this is going to be hilarious." John said curiously: "what are you doing?" Rose smirked and said: "it's about bloody time those two actually admitted how they feel about each other. I'm going to find out what room they're in and make sure they can't get out until they actually talk about how they feel about each other. The TARDIS agrees with me. And they're in the library." Rose smirked and flipped a few switches and closed the library doors and locked them. She sat down and said: "I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they find out that I just did that. Hey, it's about bloody time those two actually admitted how they feel about each other. Frankly, it's getting to the point where they need a gentle nudge in the right direction. And I'm giving them that gentle nudge. Hey, you know what they say. Desperate times call for desperate measures." John smirked and said: "you know, I've actually been half tempted to do that myself. Lorelai told me about them. Apparently she left the room when they started getting a little too friendly." Rose smirked and said: "they'll thank us later. I just took a page from my Mom's book and did the same thing she did once to her parents." John grinned and reached for Rose with one arm. Rose stood and walked over and let him pull her down beside him. She laid her head on his shoulder. John pulled her close to him and continued holding Lorelai. Then Rose fell asleep. John chuckled softly. A few hours later they heard pounding. John quickly woke Rose and stood and said: "come on. Under the console." They ran over to the console and knelt down and removed the grate. Rose dropped down into the hole first followed by John. Rose moved the grate back in place and said: "come on. There's a crawl space. Don't ask how I know that. I just know." John said: "I'm trusting you. Lead the way." Rose led the way to the crawl space. They reached the crawl space. John crawled in with Lorelai first. Rose crawled in and closed the door behind her. She sat down beside John and said: "it'll take them a while to find us. Unless they know where to look. Which I doubt they do. The only reason I know about the crawl space is because that's where our daughter was hiding. I found it while I was down here working on repairing the TARDIS." John said: "we can't hide here indefinitely." Rose said: "there's one thing that Jack doesn't know. He's not the only person with a vortex manipulator. Courtesy of Torchwood. It comes in handy quite frequently. I just don't like using it right now." John said: "because of the baby?" Rose nodded and said: "I don't particularly feel like finding out what would happen if I use it while pregnant. The only way I'll use it while pregnant is if there was an emergency and we can't get back to the TARDIS without being tailed." John shifted and said: "bit of a tight fit. But I've been in even tighter places. Could be worse." Rose said: "they're right above us now. They sound angry. Stay here with our daughter. She doesn't need to hear this." John said: "Honey, she's fast asleep. Not even a freight train could wake her up. She's dead to the world." Rose opened the door and crawled out and closed the door behind her and stood and walked over and moved the grate aside quietly and pulled herself up and out of the hole and moved the grate back in place quietly and stood. Jack and Evelina were yelling at each other. Rose looked between the two of them. She crossed her arms and cleared her throat. Jack and Evelina turned around. Rose raised an eyebrow and said calmly: "care to tell the class what you two were yelling at each other about?" Jack said: "somebody locked us in the library. Do you know who did it?" Rose feigned innocence and said calmly: "nope. I was down under the console working on repairs. It might have been the TARDIS. She's done the same thing to John and I more than once. She has a mind of her own." Evelina said: "if you were doing repairs, how come you don't look like it?" Jack said: "she probably cleaned up first. Right, Rose?" Rose said calmly: "Right. I cleaned up first. Don't want to affect the baby before it's born." Jack said: "I knew that was the case."
