We all got onto Chiryu, as she took off.
"I've never flown on a dragon before!" Kokoro exclaims.
"HAHAHAHA! COWER IN FEAR AT THE ALMIGHTY SASHIDA! HAHAHA!" Sashida is being... Sashida.
"Is it really all that exciting?" I ask.
"Only if you look at it in a different view." Kenji starts. He puts his arm around my shoulder and continues speaking,
"Look, if look at the world as only ugly and cruel, then it will only be ugly and cruel. So, take a second. Take a second and imagine something truly beautiful. While this world can be ugly and cruel, it's not the whole world. It can be truly beautiful." He looked like some kind of angel.
I looked away from him and looked at the ground. I wondered to myself, does such beauty truly exist? I closed my eyes for a few moments and when I opened them, what I saw was more than beautiful. Did I deserve such light? Did I deserve to be in the light if only for a few moments?
"We're reaching the town, quiet down, you'll draw attention." Chiryu demands.
"Isn't riding on a dragon already drawing attention?" Kokoro asks.
"No, you braindead nuisance, it's barrier to hide Chiryu's presence and physical appearance." Sashida replies.
"I was just wondering, no need to make seem stupid." Kokoro comments.
"But you are." Sashida tells her.
"WHY YOU-" Kokoro starts but I cut her off.
"She said keep your voices down. This isn't going to be easy nor quick. Prepare yourselves." I tell them.
"Be quick about getting off." Chiryu demands.
"Understood." I reply.
