As Lady Liberty walks down the street, Peter laughs, "I love it when you rumble!" Ray and Winston cheer at the walking monument, "Go! Go!" The statue stops in front of the museum and pulls back the torch.
"Hit it with it all!" Spengler shouts. The statue smashes the skylight. Janosz runs away from the broken shards of glass. Dana grabs Oscar, and Vigo vanishes.
"Oh, Oscar, look!" Dana holds her son close as The Ghostbusters slides down ropes from the crown to the restoration room. The Queen makes herself invisible and floats next to Spengler. Janosz, wearing a party hat, angrily waves his arms at them, "No! Go away! Do you know who this is?"
"Happy New Year." Peter sarcastically answers.
"He is Vigo! You are like the buzzing of flies to him!" Janosz turns to the painting to see that Vigo is gone, even from the painting itself. He stares at it in confusion.
"Oh, Johnny, did you back the wrong horse. Will you hose him, please?" Peter turns to Ray with a knowing grin. Ray glances at Winston, "Hose him!" They hold up the slime blowers and sprayed the slime on Janosz. He shrieks, spinning in circles before falling unconscious to the ground.
"One down," Winston mutters. Ray nods his head, "On the ground."
"Boy, am I-" Dana kisses Peter, "- glad to see you." She hands Oscar to Peter, and he hugs him, "Oh, Oscar, Oscar!"
Dana glances at Janosz, "Is he- dead?" Ray shakes his head, "Uh-uh. This slime is positively charged. He'll wake up feeling like a million bucks."
Peter lifts Oscar in the air, "Whoa! This gentleman is a little bit ripe! That's all right, my friend; I think I had an accident, too." The Queen watches with a smile but drops it at the sound of a loud crash; a hose wraps around Dana, making her squirm, "Get him away!"
"Get a knife or something! We gotta cut her out of this." Ray yells as Winston and Egon try to loosen the hose. The Queen snarls and searches the room.
Peter hides Oscar behind two large crates, "Okay. All right, now listen. You gotta stay right here. Don't move. Uncle Pete's gotta go help your mom for a second. You just stay there and don't say anything." He quickly leaves Oscar and stands by his fellow Ghostbusters as Vigo appears.
"Uh-oh." Egon murmurs. The Queen hides behind the crate with Oscar, watching closely.
Ray holds the slime blower at the Carpathian, "Hold it right there, deadhead! You want a baby, go ahead and knock up some willing hellhound. Otherwise, I'm giving you to the count of three to get back in that painting where you belong. One..."
"Two." Peter holds the proton gun at the ghost.
"Three!"
Peter and Egon fire, "You got him! You got him!" Vigo deflects the beams to the Ghostbusters, making them fall down. He snarls.
