Dad and I think we should name the baby Jose' the the third. Kate is finally out of surgery, they stopped the bleeding apparently this happens in some pregnancies and it was a placental abruption. I worked quickly to get her treatment and the EMT crew worked hard at assuring she didn't bleed out and the baby was saved. If it was any other time we probably would have lost her and the baby. I am sitting by her with the baby in my arms and putting her finger in his little grip. He coos as he holds her finger tightly. She suddenly wakes up and looks at the baby holding her finger. Dad is here along with the others. I don't want to tell her that this might be our only child unless we adopt. Dr Greene will know more when she heals from her surgery and the birth. I think it would be better coming from the doctor rather than me.

Jose Sr
I hope the Jose' III name will be okay with Kate, but who knows. I know Eamon is not a name that I would want to name him. Neither of Kate's parents names are a name I would pick for a child. Enid comes over and kisses Kate's head and Jose hands the baby to her and let's her have time with the baby and Kate. The poor man is still in those scrubs they gave him to wear. I went and grabbed him some clothes and a robe for Kate. The baby and her will be here for a week only hopefully.

Enid
I hold the baby and Kate is touching his hands and he grabs her finger. He knows his mommy's touch. She can't hold him yet because she's still too weak to. We hold him and feed him and change his diapers. Jose has went to shower and put regular clothing on. Eamon comes in and looks at the baby. Ethan and Ariana arrive and then Anastasia and Christian walk in with Teddy in their arms along with a gift in his hands. Eamon places the gift on the table with other gifts that were given.

Christian
The baby looks like Kate blonde hair and green eyes. I heard they are thinking about Jose' III for his name. I can see it now he puts Jose' Rodriguez III and depending on the person looking at the job application they. Ishtar think they are Hispanic and won't expect to see blonde hair and green eyes. Anastasia told me to not say anything about the name idea.

Anastasia
I could see Christian thinking after seeing the baby and hearing that they might name him Jose' III. I think he was going to chuckle but I stopped him by handing him Teddy. The baby is a very good baby and he definitely looks like Kate. I watch the baby and show Teddy the baby and he wants nothing to do with him at all. I think he's too young to understand what the baby is at this point. Soon he will be a year old and he is already an independent boy. He wants to feed himself and drink from a cup and is trying to talk. His walking is getting better now.

Grace
I arrive just in time to see Teddy walking around and babbling and he toddles over to hug his grandpa and then me. I look at the baby and now they are allowing Kate to hold him and feed him. Jose jr is helping her with him. I have to say he is a good husband and father.

Home again with Jose III

Kate
We named him Jose' III as his father and grandfather asked for. I still need to get my stitches removed. Little Jose' is a very good baby, I still can't carry him, but I am helped with walking around the house. It definitely hurts to walk at this point. Dr Greene wants to check me out again and discuss what happened and how we should proceed from here. She said she will have definitive answers soon. Jose' knows what it is and won't answer that.

Jose jr
I am thrilled to have my family home and safe and alive. I am very happy about the fact they are both home safely. Dr Greene said Kate was healing pretty nicely, but she doesn't recommend us having any more children. Kate and the next baby might not live at all. We were lucky they both survived. Kate hasn't been told yet. Dr Greene is going to make sure at her six week examination if she is correct about the diagnosis.

Dr Greene
The stitches came out today and I have to talk to Kate about the possibility of her not being able to give birth to another baby safely. Her husband is with her today because he knows about the news and wants to be here to support her no matter what happens. I finally give her the news and tell we will re-examine her at her six week check up and see where we stand again.

Kate
I listen and I listen and listen again. I start crying and Jose holds me and he says we can adopt if we can't have any more babies. We go to leave and dr Greene hands us information on how to start adoption procedures. She also gives us information on placental abruption. She also tells us that she can't say for sure until after my six week period because then I should be closer to normal right now.

Jose
We listen as dr Greene explains everything to us. I have read up on everything and I am not chancing her losing her life to have another baby of ours. We will be adopting if she can't have another child. I look at the adoption leaflets and they look good. We can try for a ba by that takes longer to arrive than an older child.
