In Korea, it was getting really hot. Spring only had a few more weeks before the Summer season, and yet, the hot weather pierced through the atmosphere as people came and went from different shops around the city. In one particular bakery, Lé Petites, the owner, slash head baker, named Kim Junkyu, walked over to the counter to give a customer her takeout bag.
"Here is your black peak cake with matcha filling," he said enthusiastically.

"Thanks for visiting, and come back soon!"
Ahn Yujin, the customer, smiled softly.
"I definitely will," she said. "Thanks to you, Lé Petites is famous for its desserts. It's a shame that these peak cakes are really underrated, they are so delicious!"
"Well, I am counting on you to spread the word," he replied, patting her on the shoulder.
Junkyu smiled warmly at her. Yujin was a dear customer, and he adored her deeply like a sister. But, he already has sisters, even brothers, of his own, the co-owners of Lé Petites. And as much as he adores his customers, like Yujin, his siblings adore them just as much. Yujin smiled widely, before waving goodbye to Junkyu, and exiting the bakery with the bag in hand. He walked into the kitchen, where he found Doyoung, his younger brother, and co-owner, older sister , and co-owner, Jisoo, younger sister, and co-owner, Jennie, his older brother, and co-owner, Seung-hyun, and his their sous-chef, Park Lomon.

The group had been putting together the perfect cake for the 85th founding anniversary for Blue House, the official residence of the South Korean Prime Minister. The cake took them 6 hours to do, and finally, the Blue House cake was complete.
