You know, I can't even believe that this is the first ever party I've been to in a while. In fact, this is the first ever company event I've ever been to.

And I'm pretty excited about this!

And it's a freaking pool party! Which makes things three times better!

Now before you ask, it's still winter over here. How are you gonna go swimming in this weather? Let alone, hold a pool party in the first place.

He has an indoor swimming pool...that's right. You freaking heard me right.

INDOOR SWIMMING POOL!!!

Never been to his house before. But he showed me pictures. And gosh, does it look gorgeous.

Man, I wish I was that rich to have a pool. All I have is the public pool at my apartment. But that is closed still for the winter.

And you think I can wait for it to open in the spring?

Hell no, I can't, but I sure as hell also can't afford a membership at the recreation center. Those are pretty expensive.

So I can't wait to go swimming there either. So this is the perfect time to go swimming.

Although, I am pretty nervous. Since I don't know how many people are coming. And my job has quite a lot of people working there.

So it's gonna make me feel nervous being all around them.

But that doesn't stop me from having fun at this party.

This is my time to socialize! And hopefully make new friends.

Before I left, I made sure I had everything. Food for the party, swimming clothes, keys to house, phone, and everything else in between.

If you're wondering, yes. I am at his house right now. Just need to call him to let me in since there's these huge gates blocking my way.

After a few tries of getting in contact with him, he finally answers and picks up the call.

"Hey! So sorry I couldn't pick up soon. I was busy talking to people. You here?" He then asks.

"Yes, I'm at the gate. It's closed," I then said, facing the gate.

"Oh shit! I thought I left it open a while ago. Sorry about that, it closes on its own after some time," he then says.

"Oh, it's ok, I understand," I then say before a mechanical sound makes me turn my head.

The gate slowly opened up, and I hurriedly got back in the car.

"Ok, thank you. I'll see you inside," I then say, before I hang up the call.

I drove through the gate entrance. Before driving down a road that then leads up to a house. A very beautiful, modern, and luxurious-looking house.

It was one story, but it was a pretty big house.

And with a skillion roof, it adds more shape to the house. Makes it more...interesting.
