Waking up with your new boyfriend in your arms is just the best feeling ever. Especially, after what happened.

You got everything sorted out. And now, it's all looking towards a very good outlook for the future.

Anyways, it probably feels like I've been up for a couple of minutes now.

Carter seems to still be asleep, so I'll try and not disturb his slumber. But I really need to know what time it was.

Since, I had that reservation.

But honestly, I'm thinking about just moving it over to tomorrow. Since I don't wanna overload Carter with more events.

Especially after what happened. But, it looks like it's dark out. So there's no way it's past six right now.

I then carefully felt around the bed. Before I finally find my phone.

I open my phone. Sure enough, it was seven minutes past eight. So the reservation has long passed. But no matter, I can still move it over.

Let me try and call the restaurant right now.

I dialed the number for the restaurant. Before I went ahead and called them.

And just like that, my reservation was moved for tomorrow at seven thirty.

Gosh, love it when things go your way after a rough day!

With the thing that happened at the park. It makes me feel good that everything is starting to go smoothly again.

Especially with Carter, can't believe he's my boyfriend now. And am I happy?

Hell yes!

Speaking of, he's waking up right now. God damn it, I must've woken him up.

"Aaron? Who were you talking to?" Carter then asks in a groggy tone as he slowly sat up.

"Oh, it was just the restaurant I wanted to take you today. But it looks like we overslept," I then explained, "but, before you jump to conclusions. No...this isn't your fault. I was the one that forgot to set up an alarm. But that doesn't matter anyways. I decided to move it to tomorrow. Since I didn't wanna overwhelm you with this on top of everything that has just happened."

"What's the restaurant?" He then asked, making me chuckle.

"I ain't gonna tell you," I then said, "it's a surprise."

Carter lets out a sigh, before I hear him move in the bed. Then a light suddenly turns on.

"Aye, at least give me a warning," I then said, rubbing my eyes.

He doesn't respond, before he lays down on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry I didn't get you anything for Valentine's Day," he then says, "I was just expecting for me to be like every year. Just to be alone again."

"Nah, it's ok," I then said, "you weren't expecting to suddenly have a boyfriend today, didn't you? And besides, you becoming my boyfriend is the best gift I've ever have!"
