*Carter*

Well, I just got out of a meeting. It was just a check up on the progress of the high school.

So far so good...we're still in the finalizations of the drafts of what it should look like.

And we're all agreeing on one type of design.

So, we might have a final version in the next meeting. And no...it isn't mine if you're wondering.

But honestly, I like the one that might being picked for the version that's gonna be turned into the final 3d model.

But maybe with a little bit more revisions of my design. Maybe mines will be one of the top next time. But that seems unlikely...but that's alright.

The meeting just concluded, and we were packing up to go back to our work spaces.

Me however, being lunch time. I'm not gonna go back to my office. Instead, I'll be eating lunch with Aaron like I've been doing everyday.

I gave my lunch box to Aaron. So it's sitting in his office. So there's really no need to go back to mine. So, with that being said. I started to make my way over to Aaron.

I was expecting to be alone, but this time however seemed to be different.

I bumped into Jenna. Who was also making her way to Aaron's office.

I didn't mind her tagging along. Since our friendship seemed to have grown recently. To where we can just casually start a conversation out of nowhere.

We then get to Aaron's office.

And see him sitting at his desk. Currently looking at the computer, probably doing stuff owners and bosses do.

"Hey Babe!" I cheerfully said, instantly getting his attention.

"Ah~ look who's finally here," he then says, standing up, "oh, hey Jenna! Nice to see you here!"

"Nice to see you too, doofus," Jenna then says, chuckling.

Aaron rolled his eyes, before going up to me and leaning down. Planting a kiss on my forehead.

"How was your day?" He then asks, making me smile.

"It was good, I just got out of the meeting with the team I'm working with to build the school. And we might have that final draft done before next week."

"Ah! Perfect!" He then says, before he motions us over to his desk so we can eat.

As we ate our lunch, Jenna had to leave for a minute to answer a phone call.

Leaving us both alone with each other.

"Finally, she's gone," he then says, chuckling "for now that is."

"What?" I then asked, "are things not going well between you and Jen?"

"Wha- Oh No!" He then says, "I like having her around. But I don't like anyone getting in the way of our personal time together."
