Okay...Aaron said to wait by the entrance of the supermarket.

Gosh, I can't believe that I have to help him look for gifts for his valentine.

Not that I didn't wanna do it...but I'm jealous...but mostly sad.

He's finally gotten a significant lover in his life. And it's not me!

But that's ok...I deserve it for not shooting my shot.

I guess I'm still stuck watching movies and eating a box of chocolates all alone, and bawling my eyes out.

Yup, that's singles on Valentine's Day to you.

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I took it out before I picked up the call.

"Hello?" I then said, looking around.

"Turn around," a familiar voice then said.

"What?" I then asked, looking around.

"Turn around, silly!" the voice then said again, chuckling before hanging up.

I stared at my phone for a bit. Before I turned around, only to see a very familiar person.

Ah yes, Aaron...why do I always find myself not being able to instantly recognize someone's voice.

"Hehe, took you long enough to realize I was behind you!" Aaron then chuckled, "how've you been?"

"Pretty good!" I then say, trying to be as enthusiastic as possible, "how about you? How are you feeling?"

"Same way you're feeling. But I'm also a bit nervous about today. You know...getting my valentine something for tomorrow?" he then says, lightly chuckling.

Hearing those words made my heart hurt. But again...honestly, I fucking deserved it.

I should've shoot my shot. Just so I could save some embarrassment.

But on the bright side. I can hang out with him one last time before I need to stop this crush on him once and for all.

But...I already know that it's gonna be pretty hard.

"So...speaking of Valentine's Day. May I know who this lucky person is?" I then asked, only to make him flustered.

"Oh...Uhhhhh...yeah about that...uhhhhh...ummmm," he says, seemingly struggling to speak, "you'll find out later!"

I looked at him, clearly confused. But I didn't wanna push things. So I let that pass, and we both walk into the supermarket.

"So...what are you looking for? Do you know what they like? If not then I might be able to recommend some stuff that I personally like," I then say.

"Um, actually...this might sound ridiculous. But I have no idea what they like. I've known them for a while. But yet I still don't know what they like," he then says, rubbing the back of his neck.
