Today is the day of my dad's funeral.

Aaron decided to tag along since he wanted to be there for me.

My mom was ok with him coming since she wanted to take this opportunity to finally meet him.

So, he drove the both of us over to look my island. To where the funeral was taking place.

We arrived, all dressed in black as a sign of respect. We weren't wearing suits, but just casual business attire.

We attended the ceremony, the viewing, and then the actual burial. And once it was all over. Rest of the family members went home.

But for me, my mother and brother, and Aaron. We went out for lunch.

At this restaurant, dispite the funeral. Our spirits seemed to by high. Mom and Lee already seemed to like Aaron.

And seemingly already having welcomed him into the family.

And I'm happy they're already getting along.

We ate and talked about what we do and our hobbies. And memories from our lives.

"Well, springs coming up!" Lee then says, "any plans?"

"Work," was all I said, before taking a bite into my sandwich.

"Oh, come on!" Lee then said, "You should take a vacation! Think about it like the spring breaks we had in high school! In fact...when was the last time you took a vacation?" 

"Tch, he never takes vacations," Aaron chimed in, "he works day after day...so on."

"Doesn't that get you in trouble?" Lee then asked, "don't employees have to use their vacation days?"

"Well, at my company," Aaron then starts, explaining the procedure at my work, "we leave the decision to employees to use their vacation days at their own time. So, I let them go on vacation whenever. If that day or week is possible. And clear of any important dates."

"Oh...well that's nice," Lee then said, before turning back to me, "see! You should take vacation over spring! It's gonna be fun for you!"

"Where though?" I then said, "it's either gonna be cold as fuck in one place. And hot as hell in the other."

"Go to Hawaii!" My mother then sudgested.

"Do you know how expensive it is over there!" I then exclaimed, "thank you for your suggestion mom...but it's too expensive."

"Ok...I'm gonna name every possible place to go vacationing in and you're gonna give me a response," Aaron then said, "maybe I can take you somewhere, since I need a vacation too. Haven't been on one in a while."

I nodded my head, smiling at the thought of what he was gonna say.

"Japan?"

"Earthquake centeral and I don't know Japanese"

"South Korea"
