In a big church, three coffins were seen placed with flower wreaths over them. Ae stood there by the side with tears rolling down his cheeks accompanied with the other people. Ae looked completely devastated and each person entering the church were paying their condolences to him.

It was in the breaking news since morning that the house of the well-known businessman was destroyed in a rampage between two gangs. The sources confirmed that there were three dead bodies found in the house which were completely burnt and couldn't be identified. Also, there were other bodies too found with them.

The post-mortem report confirmed that the three people were Pete, Can and Tin. The shocking news was being repeatedly broadcasted on the television showing the last remains of the site and the mess left behind. It was a complete disaster and people were expressing their sympathy over the lost souls.

The mass was held and finally it was the time for burial. But just when people were about to take the coffins away to the cemetery, a man appeared followed by some guards carrying a flower wreath in his hands. He first moved towards Ae and then said in an almost inaudiable voice, "This wouldn't have happened if you would have let me have him. You not only lost him but also your own cousin. This is the price you pay when you mess with someone like me."

"Why??" Ae asked in almost pleading tone. "Because what I can't have, I cannot let other's have it." The person said before turning around and placing the flower wreath over the coffins while saying 'rest in peace'.

Ae broke down in tears as the coffins were being carried out of the church and headed towards the cemetery. After all the rituals were done, the deceased were finally put to rest and everyone began to disperse. Some people stepped forward to talk to Ae and comfort him while others left the place heading for home. But there was certain someone waiting for all to leave so that he could have a word with Ae.

When everyone had left, he stepped forward. "Ae... I never met someone like you. It's rare for me to go for any funeral. You see, there are many people who are born and die everyday. It's a part of life. No one knows who is going to lose their closed ones. I am hoping that you would behave henceforth and will not try to meddle in my business. You already paid a great price. I don't want you to experience the same. And I know that you are a smart boy who would prefer to listen to my piece of advise. I hope, we don't have to see each other again." He said as he patted Ae's shoulder and walked away.

Ae stood in the place for a while before he too moved to leave the place. He walked to the vehicle that stood waiting for him. The guard outside opened the door and Ae slid in and soon, the door was closed shut.

The next moment, the person sitting inside the car was pulled in a hug by the one who had just stepped in. "How did it go?" the person asked. "Very well. Dark Snake believes the story. I guess, we can now head to have a little vacation. What do you say?" Ae asked. "What about Tin and Can khrab?" the person inquired. "Pete, they are old enough to look after themselves. Right now, let me just be there with you." Ae said while burying his face into the crook of neck of the other person.

Only he knew how much it was hurting him to even pretend that Pete was dead. He did the whole acting while keeping a heavy stone on his heart just so that Dark Snake would believe him. It was for his family and he wanted everything to run fine.

Pete squirmed a bit and then wrapped his arms around Ae's neck. He could feel the hot breathe tickling his neck. "A-Ae khrab..." Pete called in his soft stammering voice which made Ae to look up at him. Something about that face right now made him feel that he wanted to do something more than just holding him.

He reached up his hand and gently cupped Pete's cheeks before slowly bringing his face down and pressing his lips against his. Pete was stunned for a moment but then he began to respond slowly, letting himself get melt into the touch.
