"Heart of gold turned to stone..."
~°~•~°~•~°~•

My body had yet to recover as it throbbed painfully just as it was before. Caspian kissed my cheek before putting his clothes back on and returning to the study. Eyeing the dress that barely clung to the bed I pulled it towards me. It was red with a silky softness with forest green accents. A large golden embroidered rose sat on the chest area and as vines spread along the sleeves. Garments fell out of the dress to my suprise. Of the two items one was for my lower body while the other was a corset. It hurts to move my lower limbs but I need to get dressed!

The undergarments easily slipped onto my small frame but the dress was a challenge. I tried to step into it like you would pants but that didn't work due to my hips being slightly wider than I recalled. Just as I began to slip in from underneath I heard a door open. I tried to get my head out but I somehow managed to become stuck.

A long sigh in front of me caught my attention. It was a man... Not Caspian but I recognize that tone. "Erron, either help me or get Caspian please." He chuckled before I felt the dress easily slide down enough for my head to poke out. He turned around as I pulled my arms through the sleeves. The corset easily held up my chest as I tightened it.

"Are you done yet? If you take any longer I dare say that Caspian will walts in to see something unsightly.", Erron spoke bluntly with a slight quiver in his voice. Of course Erron would be scared to be caught in such an unsightly manner. It would kill him to hurt Caspian in such a traitorous way...

"Don't fret, I'm covered so nothing unsightly can happen."

"Good. Now I have news for you and Caspian. Let's join him in the study." For a moment I felt uneasy. I shook my head to dispel the feeling. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm alright." As we walked out of the room my feet felt cold for a moment. Luckily my dress lightly brushed against the floor, hiding my feet. Erron opened the door for me to my suprise. Caspian sat behind his desk with his shirt opened revealing his chest.

"My eyes are up here...", Caspian called out. He smirked at me as I approached. "How do you like this dress? Is it too tight, too loose, or just right?"

I smirked before sashaying over to his desk. As I walked behind it he moved his chair slightly away as I sat near some papers. "I believe that this is the right fit. Though it might fit better if you'd help me out-" Me and Caspian shared a look as a gagging sound caught our attention.

"Ok enough of that!!!", Erron huffed loudly and marched over to the divan and plopped himself down. "I'm surrounded by rabbits! No wonder many believe that spring is the season of love..." With a sour look on his face he pulled out a long rolled up paper with a golden seal on it. "King Quincy has sent you a decree or maybe declaration." He placed the rolled up parchment on the small table before pulling out a small envelope as well. "Princess Amandius has sent this with the priest who just arrived."

Caspian sighed. "Well it wouldn't surprise me if that was a declaration of war. Read them both."

Erron cleared his throat before reading the smaller one first.

"Dear Prince Caspian,
I would gladly accept your gifts in exchange for my least treasured priest. She has just come of age and yet not once has she spoken. I dare say that a priest who cannot speak is very useless to me. Despite her flaws she still has the ability to read, write, and do her necessary tasks. I do hope that she is useful to you then I was..."~ Princess Amandius of Amphitrite.

"I don't like princess Amandius.", my voice rang out. Something felt very crude in her words. Both men shared a glance before Erron cleared his throat. Caspian glared at him before glancing at me wearily. Oh... "So she was your fiance? When was this?"
