"Two in the same..."

As time stretched in silence my thoughts chained me. The weight was enough for me to gasp for breath. It was suffocating and yet a voice deep down laughed at my suffering. I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder as my body instinctively slapped the hand away. It felt like a dark shadow passed through me as a sinister thought gripped me. "You say that I'm weak just because I care about people?", a cold chuckle left my lips as Erron walked into the room with my sword. "We will see about that..."

I took the sword from Erron and unsheathed it quickly. I noticed how stormy my eyes looked as I glanced into my blade. I didn't think twice as I pulled some of the dress up. With a quick swing I made a long slit on the dress revealing my legs and feet. "That's better... It felt very stuffy. Now if you think that I'm weak then let's duel." Smirking, I glanced at a shocked Caspian.

"What the hell is going on?! Caspian, what did you do?!", Erron screeched. "Why is she acting like one of those grim?!"

"That's what she has become... I pushed her to this point... It was the only way to protect-"

"Don't you dare say that... All you did was speak the truth. You did nothing else! I told you already, I'm the only one who will decide who I will become!!! Get your sword!" Raising my sword I pointed it at his neck. If I must become a grim to prove my point then so be it! I will show them just how resilient I am...

"We will go outside for this. Not here." Caspian turned away from me and walked out of the study. Erron quickly followed him as I trailed behind. I sheathed my sword and closed the door behind me.

"You can't be serious! Caspian what the hell is wrong with the both of you?! She will kill you!"

"No, she won't..."

"I might if you don't give me everything you've got." Erron looked terrified as we walked down the stairs. I was being serious despite the smirk I held. Going easy on me will be a grave mistake. Erron did quick prayers as we passed through the church. Gabriella turned our way as if she sensed us. She looked worried as she should be. The dark thoughts felt unbearable! The sunlight blinded me as we stepped outside.

As I blinked I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It gleamed brightly as I instinctively moved back. The air in front of me screamed as the sword kissed the tip of my nose. It stung a little but Caspian wasn't done yet... I drew my sword as he came flying at me again. As our blade connected the force was astonishing as he pushed against me. Though his blade was a bit thicker than mine it also held more power.

Quickly jumping back slightly I managed to twist away from him. "Don't you dare run from me... You didn't want me to go easy on you. Don't back away now."

"I'd never run away. Not from you..." I got ready to attack as Caspian loosened his grip slightly. Taking a deep breath I charged towards him. I aimed at his chest and waited for him to block. Just before our swords touched I moved slightly to aim for his shoulder. It grazed him as he stepped back. "Know who is running?"

Smirking, I pulled my blade back. Erron taught me the basic thing about my blade. It's meant for quick precise attacks! With a quick thrust forward I aimed for Caspian's chest. Even if he tried to block now it would be too late...

Time seemed to slow as I stopped my blade as it touched his chest. I closed my eyes and let out a breath before sheathing my sword. The anger was long gone as I stepped back triumphantly. "Papa once told me that to become strong I must face my fears... The only thing I fear is losing those that I care about the most..." The wind blew my hair as I looked at him. For a moment the world around me shined a golden color as warmth spread through my body. It felt like the sun poured its light into my blood as everything became clear to me. "I won't lose to anyone! I must protect those who would mean the world to me!"
