"God Arceus passes Judgment!!! The Duke has arrived!!!"
~°~•~°~•~°~•The men holding my arms forced me to walk towards death as the crowd yelled in excitement. Looking around I noticed the crowd around the guillotine lunette. Looming over the lunette was a large stone statue of a man covered in armor. He looked like an angel yet he had no wings.
"Get moving! Oh and let us make you look more presentable..." The guard spoke darkly as he pulled a knife from his boot. "Let's have some fun..." I was shoved onto the gravel path causing jagged rocks to cut my arms. It stung but the pain fled quickly as I was pinned down. The man holding me roughly tied my wrists together with a rope while the other two began to rip my dress.
I wasn't given any undergarments to wear so I tried my best to fend them off. Fortunately the men only cut the dress enough to reveal my legs... I was forced to stand on my bare feet as they tore my sleeves and jewelry off. My hair received the same treatment though it was far harsher than imaginable... I could feel my hair being ripped out by brute strength! As the jewelry fell around my feet the guards kicked it towards the crowd. Many of them quickly seized the chance to grab as much as possible as others grabbed the torn silk.
The crowd was in a frenzy as we marched forward. They quickly swarmed behind me as we grew closer to the guillotine. Knights and guards surrounded the area before the guillotine creating an unbreachable circle. They allowed us to pass and pushed the crowd back as they seeked to come closer. Hesitantly I walked up the steps on the lunette, though it wasn't endless as I had hoped... Voices began to speak in unison as I reached the top.
"God of Creation, hear our plea! Pass judgment on this treacherous witch!!! Let thy voice reach heaven's gates so none will allow her to pass!!! Only you can pass such judgment, all mighty Arceus!!!" That's what they chanted as they bowed their heads to the statue. Though... The more I gazed at him, the more it appeared that he was glowing a faint golden color... Huh...I must have gone insane... Stones cannot glow nor can-
"In this world nothing will appear as it seems... Have you not learned this by now?" What?! Where is this voice- "Do not act so surprised. If you can talk to that snake and demon then this shouldn't surprise you. Now I will allow you this grace only once but you must free these lands before another dark age appears... Find what binds this land to darkness for only a child of Sephora can survive this."
Screams cut through the air as panic followed. "He has deemed her pure!!! That can't be right, can it!? How can we kill her after she has been blessed by him!?" Looking around I heard yelling from everyone until he called out to the crowd.
"SILENCE!!!", Quincy yelled. I couldn't see him yet I could hear the anger in his voice. Looking around I saw him seated on the palace wall where he could easily watch me die. "I will not allow anyone to interfere with this execution! Blood will be spilled no matter the costs!!!" Ha... Tell that to God himself and see what happens... "She will die even if that foolish God has blessed her! Blessing a witch will not save her! I will not allow it!!!" Such an ignorant fool... He may be right after all... I doubt anyone will come to save me...
Taking a deep breath I spoke loud enough for the wind to carry my words. "You wish for me to die. You only wish this for I know what you've done, what you are willing to do... You plan on letting this land rot away until nothing remains, even its citizens will cease to exist! Yet they still remain loyal to you..." I'd rather die than live in a world where none will survive! If those fools wish to follow him into the depths of hell then so be it! I'll watch them from far above... "Let the execution commence!!!" Screams of joy filled my ears as I let out a sigh. Now I've gone and done it...
The wind whipped my hair into a mess as I stood before the guillotine. The high people in society looked at me in excitement as they waited for my head to roll at their feet. I had no intention of letting that happen however. King Quincy sat high above but his gaze felt as if he was standing right in front of me... It was an immense pressure bearing down on me as I raised my head to look up at him. He looked grim as his dark presence seemed to grow the more I stared.
