A few days had passed with nothing too dramatic happening. It had been about 4 days. George spent most of those days sitting in his room, smoking weed, cigarettes, drinking a little alcohol.Dream tried to leave him alone for the most part but he always felt anxious about leaving George on his own. So It was certainly inconvenient timing for Dream to have to go to a meet up right outside of the state.
Dream knocked on George's door and within a few seconds the door was opened from the inside.
"Yeah George, Um, I'm going out of state for a night. Just thought I'd say a quick goodbye before I have to head out." Dream leaned forward and hugged the brunette.
"Okay," George hugged Dream back quite tightly. "See you tomorrow.." George mumbled under his breath.
"Please stay safe." Dream said
"I will don't worry." Dream messed up George's hair as he made his way down the hall and down the stairs. He had a bag with him that was averagely sized and blue.
George waved him goodbye from the top of the stairs and Dream went out the front door. Nick was in the living room watching tv, he gave Dream a short 'bye' right as the blonde was closing the door behind himself.
George ran back to his room and sat on his bed. He laid down and grabbed onto his spare pillow, hugging it tightly. He for some reason felt very alone. I mean of course Dream wasn't here but Sapnap was right down the stairs and his other friends were a simple phone call away.
George closed his eyes and sighed. What felt like forever to George was really just 3 hours.
Dream had arrived at the hotel he would stay at over night before going to his meeting the next day. It wasn't very late, maybe 7 pm but Dream went to his room and got ready for bed. He was tired from all the driving he just did.
George sat on the floor, slowly tears fell down his face for what felt like no reason at all. He had sat in the same spot on the floor of his room for 2 hours, his phone buzzing over and over with notifications. But he didn't care. He felt like he was paralyzed.
Lighter in hand, burn marks down his arms and collar bone. He laid his head back against his bed. He brown hair fell over his face as his eyes glistened with tears.
He couldn't even pick up the phone untill his Siri spoke out,
'Incoming call from Dream, to pick up say-'
George's breath hitched as the quickly rushed to pick up the phone. He tossed the lighter to his side. He held his phone closely to his ear with both of his hands after clicking the accept button.
"Hey George! I just got to the hotel, how are things back at the house?"
George was relived to hear the blonde was okay but the second he heard his voice he couldn't speak. Tears continued falling down the brunettes face and all the blonde could hear was George's heavy breathing on the other end.
"George are you okay?"
Georges hands shook as he listened to the blondes voice through the phone.
"I miss you.." George mumbled out through heavy breaths.
"I miss you too. Are you okay?" Dream repeated the question.
"No.." George whispered.
"Okay darling, can you tell me what's wrong?" Dreams tone softened as he spoke to the brunette.
"..no.." George breath was very clearly shaky even through the bad audio of the phone call.
"That's okay. I'm gonna have Sapnap come check on you, alright?" Dream was basically whispering to the other.
