Dream came home around 8 am.The second he was conscious he begged Karl to go home to see George and Karl granted his please.
George would've slept on the pouch if Sapnap hadn't silently forbidden it. The second George drifted off to sleep, Sapnap picked George up and brought him back inside, making sure to return his drugs back to his bedside table.
Sapnap knew this would eat him up inside, knowing that Dream didn't know his best friend- his boyfriend was using again. Sapnap sat down on the couch and stayed up until Dream returned in the morning.
Karl lead Dream to the door, slowly opening it and kicking their shoes off on the entrance mat.
"We're back." Karl said and Sapnap sluggishly walked over to Dream and pulled him into a hug.
"Please don't leave again." Sapnap mumbled into dreams shoulder, trying to hold back tears.
"I'm really sorry." Dream hugged Sapnap back tightly.
"It's- it's fine.. George is up in his room. I think he's still asleep.." Sapnap whispered and Dream nodded. Slowly releasing the brunette and giving him a smile, Dream made his way up the stairs to George's room.
"He's doing coke, Karl." Sapnap immediately said as he watched Dream disappear into George's room.
"What?"
"George. He's doing coke, y'know, cocaine, the drug." Sapnap sarcastically remarked at Karl's response.
"I-I know what coke is man- I just can't believe it." Karl looked at Sapnap in complete shock. "Does Dream know?"
"No. George won't tell him. I think he should know- but I don't want to hurt George.." Sapnap said and Karl gave him a sympathetic look. Karl came closer to Sapnap and hugged him tightly, placing a soft kiss on the Texans cheek that was wet with tears.
"It's gonna be alright.." Karl cooed, trying to calm sapnaps nerves.
"He's done so many drugs- I'm so worried- I never knew, and he has been doing them the entire time I've known him." Sapnap muttered.
No one knew yet that George had lied. He did do all of those substances at some point, but he didn't just stop after one dose. He never could. George had been in and out of hospital after hospital while in London, his whole life revolved around his use of heroine and other drugs like that.
George couldn't think of a time in London where he wasn't high out of his mind. The only times he would try and sober up was when he needed to record videos or be in some kind of meeting.
George's apartment was constantly suffocating in smoke and the harsh smell of alcohol. If he happened to be caught by his friends in a VC, he would just tell them he was tired, or doing some kind of legal drug. It didn't matter if he was doped up on heroine, cocaine or weed, George just couldn't get enough.
Of corse now that he was surrounded by his best friends his addictions subsided for the most part (along with the fact that he lost the ability to contact any dealers he had in London.)
Dream knocked on George's door, he was met with silence. Dream invited himself into George's room, trying to be as quiet as he could as he closed the door behind himself.
He slowly walked over to George's bed and laid down next to George. Dream wrapped his arms around George's body, the brunette being shocked awake by the sudden touch.
"Sorry George.. didn't mean to wake you." Dream whispered and George promised him it was alright. George ran his hands through Dreams hair and kissed his forehead.
