Chapter 9

"Performance and proposal"

As the days passed, Jimin and Jungkook became so busy practising that they didn't realise the competition was in two days. Eunwoo also was so busy preparing for his singing competition that he barely hung out with his friends. And many things happened in between the time.

Such as, when Taehyung knew about the theme of Eunwoo's competition, which is 'someone special' and they had to write a confession song, he couldn't help but had a suspicion that Eunwoo liked someone. And this thought just made him sad, and he was mad at himself that he didn't confess to him. If he had, maybe he would have had a chance to be with him.

He cried himself to sleep that night, and smiled, masking his pain in front of his friends whenever he hung out with them.

And Eunwoo noticed the changes in Taehyung's behaviour, but didn't say anything as he was preparing a surprise for Taehyung which would just blow his mind off. But he did try to make him smile and laugh sometimes.

No one knows about his surprise, except Jungkook, as he had caught him and Yoongi together working on something. And since then he had been silently observing everything between Eunwoo and Taehyung.

While, Jimin and Jungkook both gave a thought about their feelings towards each other, as it became intense as time went by.

Jungkook often find himself staring at Jimin more than he had intended. He began to notice every small detail of everything Jimin does. And he couldn't help but admire the latter with a smile. But he is not sure if Jimin feels the same about him or not.

And Jimin was no different from Jungkook. He finds himself smiling at everything Jungkook does, and begins to flush in bliss whenever Jungkook compliments him or does little things for him.

But he was not so confident about what Jungkook might feel about him. He really wanted to confront these feelings to someone, and that someone is Taehyung, with whom he shares everything. So he was determined to explain everything to Taehyung, so that at least he could help him somehow, and with that thought he went to Taehyung's house.

But when he saw a crying Taehyung curled up in his bed, he forgot about his own things and went to comfort his friend.

And when he heard everything, he blamed himself for not noticing his soulmate's conditions. He cried too. And Jimin thought that it's not the time to talk about his feelings, because now Tae needs some emotional support from him. And he'll try everything to make his best friend happy.

And after spending some more time with Taehyung, he went for some dance practice.

Hoseok had advised them to put their solo performances together with the duo one. So first Jimin will do his solo one, then Jungkook and then at last they'll do the duo performance. And the whole performance includes three types of dances.

And they've been slightly nervous about the performance. Especially Jimin as he has been practising a lot, to do his best.

But Jungkook didn't like the fact that Jimin had been overworking himself. Jimin barely ate anything during their breaks saying he wasn't hungry, and continued to practise.

Jungkook observed everything, and he was worried about Jimin's health. So he stood up, turned off the music and pulled Jimin with him. He sat Jimin down in front of the food they've placed in the practice room.

Jungkook glared at Jimin, arms folded in front of his chest, and signalled for Jimin to eat. And Jungkook's gaze did make Jimin give in, but he still hadn't touched his food as he is stubborn as well. And he heard a long sigh escape from Jungkook's mouth.
