Chapter 26

"Is it possible?"

The next day arrived with the news which everyone of them had hoped for. The three companies of Lucifer which Officer Kim had found to be illegal businesses, were attacked and brought down, destroying a large amount of illegal stuff. And it was done by none other than Yoongi and his team.

As the first step was successful, the outcome was exactly what Yoongi had expected. Lucifer was frustrated and confused as to how someone managed to find out the base for his illegal businesses.

He was in his office, reading the headline of the news which had mentioned how everything in that company building was destroyed and there’s no trace of the one who’s behind this chaos.

“Where the fuck you all were when this happened?” Lucifer asked the five of his men, his voice was low but it made the others shiver because they knew the beast inside of their boss was about to resurface.

Lucifer eyed each and every person present there with their heads hung low, not meeting his eyes. “I asked something. Answer me!!” He yelled, throwing the iPad towards one of them, who managed to dodge it by just a second before it could hit him.

“We were out for a deal, sir. And by the time we returned back, it….. this all happened. We don’t… don’t know how.” One of the men said, and Lucifer scoffed with humour, letting out a dark chuckle.

“Huh. You don’t know? How the hell were you not aware if someone was keeping an eye on your every action?” Lucifer roared. “You all are useless. Losers.” He declared, and took his gun out of his coat before aiming at the men’s direction.  

“And, there’s no place for losers in this world. They deserve to die. Die!!!” He shouted before shooting the men one by one on their head. And by the time he was done, he was alone in his room with five dead men lying still on the floor.

He let out a frustrated groan before pulling his phone out of his trousers and dialled a number. “I need each and every detail of the incident till night. If not, you know the consequences.” He warned as soon as the ringing sound came to an end, then hung up as he finished and threw his phone on the bed, not in the mood of hearing any other responses or excuses from the other side.

“Whoever you are, you’re messing with the wrong person.” He gritted his teeth, before his attention shifted towards a folder, one of his men had by his side.

Something familiar caught his eyes and to confirm his suspicion, he lifted up the folder and thoroughly scanned each and every picture and documents placed in that folder. As he was done reading the complete folder, he laughed like a maniac.

“It all feels like a game. A cruel game of destiny. Now all of it makes sense.” Lucifer chuckled, as he again looked at the picture.

“Fate has been a little too cruel to you, hasn’t it?” He wondered while glancing at the picture inside that folder, before placing the folder beside him. There’s a thought running through his head, something sinister about the way he smirked.

“It will be a lot of fun to meet you again. Jimin.”

“Jimin-ah!!” Jimin turned around towards the source of the voice that called out his name, and saw that it was Hoseok, who was approaching him with his arms wide open and his forever bright smile.

“Oh my God! Hyung!!” Jimin exclaimed, before he got engulfed in a bone crushing hug by the latter, which Jimin returned back with the same excitement. “You’re back from your visit? I thought I was here to meet Yoongi hyung or Officer Kim.” Jimin asked curiously as he pulled back from the hug. Jimin looked around to find the said two people approaching them, but were still in a distance from them. He got a call from Yoongi, asking him to come to the mall and that he had something for him. He had reached just at the time Yoongi mentioned, at the cafe where he booked a table so they could have some talks.
