Chapter Thirty

Jimin had finally released Na-Rae as they arrived at their destination. The girl fought the entire way here; as she finally got free she began throwing balls of light at her father that he effortlessly dodged. Their powers were linked to their emotions so right now her powers were doing her anything but justice.

He tried to reason with her but she wouldn't listen to anything he said. Reluctantly he snapped his fingers and all of her magic seemingly ceased to exist. her body felt light it was being dragged down by cement blocks. she unwillingly fell to get ground, unable to get up.

Jimin, breathing hard from constantly trying not to be hit finally came to stand beside his daughter. "Are you gonna calm down?" he asked her

She grunted as she fought against the invisible weights that held her down, "You've been grounded, so until you turn your emotions back on and get a grip, you'll be powerless." Jimin said with a mirthless smile.

He walked over to the fountain in the middle of the beautiful pavilion before sitting down on its ledge. Na-Rae continued to grunt as she fought before she started to physically scream.

"Daddy!" she cried, "Daddy please," she sniffled, "I'm sorry, daddy! I'll be good but please." she cried, "I'm hurting! You're hurting me!" she stared at Jimin with tears in her eyes.

"Wow..." Jimin said, "You're good..." he then kicked his leg up and crossed it over, "But not that good." he laughed

Na-Rae frowned darkly, "You're demon scum!" she screamed

"And you're dramatic!" he yelled back, "As I said, we'll sit here, I have nothing else to do except this right here."

Na-Rae glared at her father's smug smile; she wanted to be the one who wiped that smirk from his face.

Tokk he i and Gogyul came toppling in as they shimmered in from hell with a heavy Hyun on their shoulder. He was out cold and his pulse was slowing by the seconds. "Grandma! Gogyul!" Tokki shouted

"I--I know shush, shut up, I'm thinking--"

Tokki cried, "You're the smart one...Gogyul-ie help him!"

Gogyul began to tear up, their healing wasn't working, they tried during their shimmering journey here.

Tokki blubbered, "Fuck! We fucked up!" he cried

Gogyul rubbed their younger brother's head as he felt him getting weaker.

"Hello!" Tokki screamed at the top of his lungs, suddenly several angels came piling out of random areas, Mila heading them all.

"I'm sorry I took so long--"

"No! I don't care!" Gogyul shouted as he picked up Hyun shoving him into an angel's arm, "Help him!" his eyes red and puffy from tears as he and Tokki sniffled,

"Mila held her brothers close, "He's going to be okay, okay?"

They didn't respond and Mila felt awful; she wasn't worried. In her mind, there was absolutely no way that she was going to lose a sibling. She believed with all of her being that Hyun was going to make it. It had to be... because he's their Hyun-ie.

"Gogyul," Tokki began, "Go get Do-Wan; and Mila, go find Jimin and Na-Rae, We're having a family fucking meeting in hell." he sniffled

Gogyul and Mila nodded and bother shimmered away before Tokki followed the direction that the angels went with Hyun.

You had been running for god knows how long, you played with them long enough to get your children out of there but not that Tokki and Gogyul weren't using their powers to protect you from the harsh effects of hell, your skin felt like it would melt off, you were sweating and your powers were weakening.
