I was a child living on my own, twelve years old. The royal family knew about my parents' death so they helped me get a house and to live almost a normal life.
That was until one rainy night, a knock was heard at the door. It was 9pm. I was wondering if it was the royal family. It would be strange; not only is it raining and they would not ever wander in the rain but they had also visited me today when they only visit me once a day.
I head to the door anyway as there was a chance it could be one of their knights.
I open the door to pitch black being lit by a couple street lights. I was about to close the door before looking down and seeing two small girls. Not babies but younger than me. I rushed them both in before they could be any colder and closed the door behind me.

I quickly grabbed towels and gave them both one. They dried themselves off whilst I grabbed hot water bottles and filled them with boiling hot water.
As I waited for the hot water to boil, I went back to the two girls and brought them both into the living room, which is to the right of the front door.
