Nina Chime, a sixteen year old girl, dealing with many differences that others take advantage to. It's not her fault she's this way, it's more her mum's, Cheryl Kim, as she never raised her as she should've done.
Nina agrees to a 'friend' to venture...
The three of them look at me like I'm an idiot. I know they said I'm in danger but there has to be something else. Right?
"The leader of those girls wants you because you are weak for defending yourself. So we have to keep you in our sight at all times to be sure you do not get snatched away from us." Flutter says, her tone sounding stern and serious.
I nod in response.
Flutter places her hand against my back as she slightly pushed me towards the entrance of the old looking castle. Not that I'm complaining, at least I'll be able to rest. I'm exhausted.
That was until Luna, to my right, gets stabbed right through her stomach from behind.
We all turn around, Flutter protecting me, to find it was the pink pastel girl.
Luna falls to her knees, her eyes widen as she comes to the realisation of what's happened. She heavy breathes deeper than I thought she could.
Rose uses her roses to banish the pastel girl away, in which it worked after the second attempt.
That pastel girl sure is scary.
Flutter attends to Luna as Rose keeps me close.
They both place a hand on her wound as a beautiful bright blue then shines from them and the wound.
Then it blinded me like a flash bang.
As soon as I could see again, Luna was on her feet.
Her off-the-shoulder plain black top cut through as from below the cut, she was covered in blood.
I was then rushed inside as they realised one of them could appear at anytime.
I was pushed more aggressively towards the castle as we finally reached the entrance. This time, those guards didn't stop me. They just sneered as we rushed by.
The castle colour scheme is red and gold from head to toe, room to room. It really is beautiful and seems untouched almost. How does Flutter live in such a beautiful castle?
She directed me to the living room and told me to stay. I nodded and she walked off.
She probably has important matters to attend to.
So I walked towards the red velvet sofa as I see a horn, a unicorn horn. I moved closer and a little unicorn appeared. She looked younger than me, frightened and possibly scarred. I'm not sure. She just looked up at me and tilted her head to the right.
I gave her a warm smile in hope it silently told her that I won't hurt her.
Her head returned to how it was before; straight.
Her butterflies that surrounded her also calmed down as they looked like they were going to attack me.
"Hello!" I waved at her.
She looked at me before moving her hands and fingers in motions I don't recognise. Is she saying something?
I tilted my head in confusion "I'm sorry, I'm not sure if you tried saying something or not."
She understood what I meant. She quickly grabbed some paper and a pen that was lying still on the coffee table beside her.
"It was sign language. I lost the ability to speak due to my past. What I said was 'Hello, I have not seen you before.' Who are you?"
I read it over and over again. This poor girl can't speak.
"I'm really sorry for not understanding sign language. I hope I can learn quickly for you. But I'm Nina, what's your name?" I ask.
She then writes again "Hello, Nina, I am Carolina. I am a unicorn with many powers such as the ability the heal who is already dead, however I can only use that ability once a day. Are you locked here with me?"
"It's nice to meet you, Carolina," I smile "Can I ask what you mean by your question?" I ask.
She wrote once again "I ask because I am locked here for my safety so I am wondering if you are in the same or similar situation."
"I'm not sure, I'm sorry."
She gives me a thumbs up, something I can understand.
I sit on the floor beside her to give her company. She passes me one of her toys. I take the pale pink stuffed elephant as she grabs a pale blue teddy bear. We just play.
