Tw: slight angst, internalized homophobia and slurs
Robin stayed silent.
"Robin is it true or not?!" Finney shouted out
"Obviously not why?"
"Because the whole school is saying it and it's getting annoying! We're just friends I don't why I have to keep telling people that"
"Yea I know. But uhm I have to tell you something. Meet me at the park in an hour."
"Ok?.." Finney looked at him confused
"Yea.. well goodbye" Robin lazily waved goodbye and started walking away.
I wonder what he wants to tell me. Finney said heading to his house.
When he arrived all he could think about is what Robin had to tell him.
He closed the door behind him and waved hello to his sister.
"Why did you leave me?"
"Because you took to long with your litt- I mean Robin so I just left."
"Oh my bad. Yea about Robin he told me he had something to tell me and meet him at the park."
"Oh okay that's fine."
"Did you hear about the rumors going around in the school?"
"What rumors?" Gwen said taking a sip out of her hot chocolate
"People keep gossiping about Robin liking me which I don't know where they got that from but he's straight! I mean I don't know if he is but still. If he was gay I wouldn't be friends with him cuz dad told me not to be friends with gay people."
"Finney you know you don't have to listen to dad I already told you his words are bullshit. Love is love. Doesn't matter as long as people are happy"
"I wish I could say the same but I just can't I don't want dad thinking I'm one of those people. I'm not!"
"Ok Finney just chill I get your going through stuff but I believe you. Your straight and Robins straight. We're all straight. Is that what you wan to hear?"
"Hmm yes. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to see what Robin wants to tell me. There's leftovers in the fridge. Goodbye." Finney said dropping his bag to the floor and shutting the door behind him.
Finney walked to the park and when he arrived he saw Robin on the swings
When Finney saw Robin he admittedly went up to him.
"Hi Robin. Sooo what did you want to tell me?"
"It's true."
"What?"
"It's true that I like you."
"What seriously?!"
"Yea..."
"That's disgusting! Absolutely not I will not be friends with someone like you!" Finney shouted out leaving Robin sitting there.
But what Finney didn't realize is how bad of a mistake that was.
Finney started running back to his house and when he arrived he slammed the door behind him.
"Woah woah Finney what the hell happened?"
"The rumors are true! Robin does like me! I told him I did not want to be friends anymore and left him there."
"What Finney are you kidding me?! Robin is literally the only person who truly cares for you and plus you guys seemed so happy together why the fuck would you do that?! Do you have any idea how dumb that was?!" Gwen shouted out
"I don't give a shit! I'm not gonna be friends with someone who likes me especially when they are a boy! Plus it's fine I can find another friend." Finney said crossing his arms
"God Finney your such a dumbass sometimes but you know what you do you." Gwen left to go to her room

Ever since that day the two boys haven't talked.
Finney didn't think much of it because he was upset from all of it.
He just wished Robin didn't like him. None of this wouldn't happen if it wasn't for Robin.
Robin on the other hand regretted everything he told Finney at the park.
He should of just let it be. He knew Finney was straight why did he tell him? God this is all his fault.
He left his bully friends for the person they were bullying and now he has no one.
He was just tired he didn't even feel like going to school.
Why did everything have to happen to him. First it was his dad passing away now this? What else could possibly happen.
"Robin despierta vas a llegar tarde" his mother said softly shaking him
(Robin wake up your going to be late)
"Por favor deje de. No quiero ir hoy. No estoy de humor." Robin said kind of angrily
(Please stop. Im don't want to go today. I'm not not in the mood.)
"Awww mijo lo siento mucho. ¿Quieres hablar acerca de ello?" His mother said putting her hand softly on Robins head to show her support.
(Awww my son I'm so sorry. do you want to talk about it?)
"No mamá, solo quiero estar sola."
(No mom I just want to be alone)
"Ok mi amor lo que quieras. Podrás tomarte hoy libre. si necesitas algo aqui estoy bien?" His mother left his room after she said those two sentences
(Ok my love whatever you want. you can take today off. if you need something I'm here okay?"
When Robins mom left Robin went back to sleep.
