Boggarts

"I love the lesson today Remus..but are you a little nervous on how the kids might take it? Looking at their worst fear?" He nods pushing the cabinet to where he wants it. "I have thought about it, and this is where they can face their fear and teach them something at the same time." I smile to him "I like it! Hey this isn't too much for my first day right?" Gesturing towards my clothes. He looks at me and shakes his head "no? Your literally in a yellow dress and heels. I don't think it's too much love!" I smile nodding

The next scene we can see all the kids through the mirror on the wardrobe. It shakes scaring them "intriguing isn't it? Does anyone like to guess to what is inside?" Remus asks the class walking around them as they all stare at the cabinet. "That's a boggart" Dean tells him "can anyone tell us what a boggart looks like?" I smile asking the kids. "No one knows.." Hermione tells me "when did she get here?" Ron asks Harry "boggarts are a shapeshifters they take a shape of a what a person fears the most, that's what makes them so.." Remus gets up from leaning on the table "terrifying, luckily there is a very simple charm is used to repel upon them." The boggart keeps beating against the wardrobe. "Let's practice it now, without wands!" I smile to Remus standing with him in front of the class. As Remus starts to talk I walk around stopping behind Draco and his friends. "Repeat after me..Riddikulus!" The class repeats what Remus said "very good, a little louder, very clear.. Riddikulus" the cabinet moves scaring the kids making them walk back repeating again what he said, but louder. Draco turns to crabbbe and Goyle "the class is Ridiculous." I smile and says quietly only to where he and his friends can hear "is that right Mr. Malfoy..?" He tenses and looks back at me "I'm sorry professor potter." I look to the class and back to him "forgiven Mr. Malfoy" I walk away to stand near Remus.

"Very good, Well so much for the easy part, you see the incantation alone is not enough. What really finishes a boggart is what Professor Potter!" He smiles asking me "Laughter Professor Lupin!" He smirks at me and then looks back at the class "you need to force it to a shape that you find truly amusing. Let me explain..uhh, Neville, will you join me please!" Neville looks so nervous "come on don't be shy! Come on" Neville then looks around at all the student a looking at him and walks up. "Neville what frightens you most of all?" I ask him as he looks at me nervously "professor snape" he says I look at him in confusion "sorry?" He sighs "professor snape" as he said that the whole class laughs. I cut them off with one look. "Professor snape!" Remus found it amusing "frightens all" I snort and continue "I believe you live with your grandmother?" He nods

Alice and Frank look sadly at him wanting to change what happens in the future.

"yes and I don't want that boggart to turn into her either!" The class laughs again "no, it won't. I want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes clearly in your mind." Neville tells us she varies a red handbag. Remus shakes his head "we don't need to hear, as long as you see it, we will see it. When I open that wardrobe, here is what I want you to do." Remus bends down and wishers "imagine professor snape in your grandmas clothes. Can you do that?" Neville nods "wands ready 1..2..3.." and with a flick of his wand the knob turns and the boggart comes out as snape.

That was so crept it's not even funny.

"Think neville think!" Remus tells neville, without waiting a second more and with a flick of the wand neville yells out "Riddikulus" we watch as the boggart changes his clothes to a woman's dress with animal furs and a red handbag. The class, Remus , and I laugh I couldn't help it I knew snape for years.
"Alright! Wonderful neville wonderful! To the back neville! Everyone form a line."

I watch as the kids have a very rough time forming and line and look back at the confused boggart. I tell the class "I want everyone to picture the thing they fear the most and think of something funny." And i start to play the music from the record player. "Ron!" Ron walks up and the boggart changes to a spider "wands out and ready everyone!" Ron yells out Riddikulus and the spider now has roller skates. Making all the kids laugh as the spider tries to catch its balance. We watch as a few more kids walk up and remus talks to them, teaching them. Then it was Harry's turn, he walked up with a smile on his face. The clown rocking back and forth. Remus and I are now on high alert because the boggart has not changed. It then changes into a dementor. Remus runs in front of Harry, the bogart then changes to the moon. I look at Remus sadly "Riddikulus!" It then turned into a balloon piping and flying away. Coming back towards up I say a spell and open the cabinet as the boggart flies in. "Alright sorry about that, that's enough for the day go back to the room and collect your books that's the end of the lesson thank you!" Remus says bowing his head.

I walk over to Harry, his eyes never left the wardrobe. "Harry..?" He jumps as I get his attention, he just nods and walks away with the rest of the class. I watch him as he walks away with a very concerned look.

"Moony are you ok?" He nods moving the wardrobe back to its place. I sigh stopping the music.

I look at Moony with a smile "I still think we did a great job as teachers." He smiles giving me a nod and a high five.
