Wish's POV

Flashback~

"Break up with her or she can't graduate. Choose wisely, Wish!" My knees suddenly felt weak. I slowly stepped back while my chest felt heavy.

"Mom..can we just talk this agai-"

"No! Now choose!"

"We don't have to reach at this point-" Quinn's brother said, but my mother just raised her hand to stop him from talking.

"Now choose. You continue loving her, but she'll not graduate and her name and your name will be ruined forever or let her go and you two will live peacefully and she'll be able to reach her dreams. The same goes for you."

I didn't say a word and just covered my mouth while crying.

"It's not that hard so now choose!" She furiously screamed.

I looked at Quinn's brother and he's mouthing that he's sorry.

"Ms. Alonzo, I'm afraid you need to choose." Mr. Javier said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

I wiped my tears and composed myself before saying my answer.

"Let's.. break up..." I finally said it. Shock was all over her face.

She furrowed her eyebrows. "A-ano?"

"This..is not working for the both of us, Quinn.."

"Okay naman tayo ah..mahal natin ang isa't isa..masaya tayo-"

"How sure are you?" I asked with a teary eyes.

"Kasi iyon iyong sinasabi ng mga mata mo tuwing magkasama tayo..."

I stepped back and hugged myself.

"Look, we're hurting because of our relationship, Quinn. A teacher and a student? It's just so...wrong..."

"Wrong? Kailan pa naging mali ang magmahal, Wish?" She asked and this time tears are evident in her eyes that's why she immediately wiped it.

"Huwag ganito, please?" This time mas hinawakan niya ng mahigpit ang mga kamay ko.

I didn't look at her while I'm hugging myself. I can't bare looking at her in this state and it's because of me.

"Tignan mo ako, mahal.." she lovingly whispered and it's breaking me more.

"Quinn, I've told you before to prepare your heart, right? Now please do..this for me...stay away from me... let's stay.. away from each other.."

"Hindi...hindi ko kaya, Wish. Dahil ba sa sinabi ng mama mo kaya ka nagkakaganito?"

"No..I think this through and I find it the best for the both of us-"

"Ang mawalay sa isa't isa? Ang hindi ka makita? Ang hindi ka mayakap, mahalikan, maparamdam ko man lang sa'yo ang pagmamahal ko? Ang saktan natin ang puso natin? Iyon ba iyong best for us, Wish?" This time her tears are coming out from her beautiful eyes.

"I'm..sorry, but we have to.." I walked past her, but she just hugged me tightly and now she's back hugging me. I felt her trembling body on mine.

"Please..huwag mo akong iwan.. let's fight this... together.. mahal.." I bit my lower lip to stop myself from crying again because of what she said.
