Wish's POV

"Mr. Mendez!" I walked as fast as I could to catch up sa kanya.

"Mr. Mendez, I am talking to you!" This time may galit na sa boses ko. He stopped walking in front of his car and looked at me.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. Hindi po kita narinig." I know he's lying.

"What you saw a while ago, forget about it and don't tell Quinn." He laughed sarcastically.

"Ma'am, deserve ng kaibigan ko malaman ang nangyari kanina."

"And that's why, I'll be the one to tell her." I strictly said.

"Kailan po? Next year? After Christmas break?" He asked with a hint of annoyance sa boses niya.

"I'm still your teacher, Mr. Mendez. You cannot talk like that in front of me."

"Alam ko naman po iyon, ma'am. Kaibigan ko kasi iyong may gusto sa inyo eh. Hindi pwedeng hindi ako mag-alala sa kanya." I took a deep breath.

"I'll be the one to tell her. Do you understand me?" He sighed and nodded.

"Bakit po kayo pumayag? Does that mean gusto niyo rin siya at ipapatigil niyo na sa panliligaw si Quinn?"

I looked away while crossing my arms.

"I don't like what happened a while ago. It doesn't mean pumayag ako, I like him too. No, I don't like him. There are just things or circumstances in life na you cannot do anything about it." I faced my back at him after saying that.

"Wala po akong alam sa buhay niyo pero...please don't..please don't hurt Quinn...if hindi pwede, then tell her to stop..we don't want her to cry and get hurt again because of liking someone. If you'll excuse me. Mauna na po ako." With that I heard him open his car door and left.

I closed my eyes while massaging my nose bridge.

"Wish, congratulations!" I opened my eyes and saw my mother approaching me with a smile plastered on her face.

"Sinagot mo na rin si Joseph and I'm sure you won't regret it."

"Really, mom? Do you think I like what happened kanina?" I walked past her.

"Ano pa bang hindi mo gusto kay Joseph, huh? He's rich, good looking and he takes good care sa inyo ni Hailey. He'll be a great father sa kanya." I stopped and looked at mom.

"I. Don't. Like. Him. Is it really hard  for you to understand that?"

"Stop, Wish. Tapos na. He is your boyfriend now and soon you'll get married. Stop acting like this." I scoffed and called my driver to fetch me.

I was waiting for my driver when he called me.

"Where are you going? Hindi pa tapos ang event ng boyfriend mo-" I didn't let him finish his sentence and slapped him as hard as I could.

"For what was that, huh?!" He asked with an irritated voice while holding his cheek.

"I hate you so much!" I shouted while stopping myself from crying.

"I just did what's right-"

"Right? Really? To pressure me in front of the crowd? I told you, I don't feel the same way." I hugged myself while crying.

"Bakit? Why can't you love me back, huh?" I didn't answer and looked away while crying.

"Answer me, Wish! Ako lang naman ang nandito ha simula pa ng  mawala siya-"
