— Chapter 8

Am I crazy? Maybe we could

happen

Yeah

Will you still be with me when

the magic's all run out?

If only I knew what my heart

was

telling me

Don't know what I'm feeling

Is this just a dream?

AFTER ONE NIGHT OF SITTING, she woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. Milene will have forgotten to close the curtain when she went to bed, and the sun came in through the windows. She thought about getting up to close them and trying to go back to sleep, but she had no energy.

She wasn't sure if it was anxiety and the fear that kept her tossing and turning, or the luxury of sleeping in the house, a real bed after months spent on wobbly canvas beds or nothing else, a sleeping bag between her and the hard floor.

Milene stretched and ran her fingers over the intricately carved birds and flowers on the bed. Above her, the bed curtain opened to reveal a ceiling painted in bright colors, sophisticated floral motifs and birds in flight.

When she looked at it, counted the leaves of the juniper garland and was just drifting off to sleep when there was a soft knock on the door. She threw a thick blanket and slipped on the small stuffed slippers that were arranged by the bed.

There, on the next table, was written "This will be your clothes for the day, I'll come to your room after Alina's bath" - Genya

For a moment, She  just stared at the clothes. She has spent her life in the clothes she inherited from older orphans, then in standard First Army uniform. She would certainly be sure that no one would ever do anything for .

And she never dreamed that she would be wearing a Grisha kefta. As Milene washed her face and brushed her hair. She doesn't know when Genya will arrive, so she decided to drink some tea.

She loves Tea.It is what wakes her up for the day, but she doesn't have the courage to call the servant. In the end, nothing Milene must do.she started with the pile of clothes on the bed, A Kefta, the length of the robe almost elongated robes that are similar looking to coats.
