Alternate storyline taking place during and post Avatar: The Way of Water. This follows a Na'vi girl, Safi, and her journey finding herself, while balancing responsibility, family, independence, and love. Lots of love ;)
- You will be seeing a LOT...
For a while we walk mostly in silence, but it isn't awkward, it was a comfortable silence. We just enjoyed the peaceful morning. We had to be careful climbing down the mountains, they are always moving, so we have to time things perfectly, and use vines to get between some of the different rocks.
We approach a large jump, and I start feeling anxious. Not about the jump, or the height, but for Neteyam.
"Are you sure you are okay to do all of this?" I turn around to look at Neteyam. Lo'ak is already across the gap, watching Kiri jump.
"I am fine Safi." He says giving me a small reassuring smile, continuing forward. I watch him jump across, just like Lo'ak and Kiri did. He lands, turning to face me, showing off. I roll my eyes and follow after him.
"I do not mean to pester you." I mention as I catch up to him.
"I know. It is okay." He replies. We keep trekking for a while, making our way down to the giant vine bridge that connects the mountains to the main land. I have only been back to the mainland a few times since we moved, for ceremonies at the soul tree.

Neyetaym gestures for me to go ahead of him. "No way am I going to your skxawng ass fall off the bridge behind me." I assert, gently pushing him in front of me. "Especially when Jake left me in charge." He smiles and laughs at me. I smile back.
"Fine." He replies with a sigh.
The four of us cross the bridge quickly, it is easier than the climb, but equally as risky. When we get down to the other side, we take a break. It only took about twenty minutes to get here from High Camp, but it is an intense climb.
"Solid ground!" Kiri says, laying down to hug the ground. We all laugh with her. It is nice to have my feet firmly planted, no feeling of swaying through the sky.
"Come on Kiri, we are losing daylight, remember?" Lo'ak teases, nudging her with his foot. She rolls her eyes at him, I offer her my hand and help her back to her feet. Neteyam and Lo'ak walk ahead of us. Kiri and I chat as we make our way back into the forest we grew up in.
"I miss the forest." I confess as I run my hand across the the cushy moss covering the bark of a tree. A trail of bioluminescence follows my touch.
"I feel you sister." Kiri replies, spinning in a circle as we walk. "So, are you finally going to get an ikran?" She asks with a smirk, I don't understand what she is implying.
"Eywa I hope so." I answer with a small laugh. "I asked Neteyam to teach me. Please do not be offended." Kiri smiles sweetly, I swear this girl is too understanding.
"Of course not! Neteyam is the most experienced, and the best rider." She says proudly.
"Pardon?!" Lo'ak chimes in, turning to face us. I bring my hand to my face, trying to stop myself from smiling.
"Brother..." Kiri starts, clearly unable to come up with an excuse.
"You think HE's the best rider?" Lo'ak points a finger at his brother, Neteyam lowers his head and smiles. Kiri walks up to Lo'ak trying to calm him.
