The next morning, I woke up way before the sun, but I got up anyway. I am much too excited to go back to sleep. I made myself some food, and started walking to the Sully's.

Rays of light trickle through the nooks in the mountain cavern, bouncing off the morning dew, creating tiny specks of light all around, much like the freckles on Na'vi skin. As I near the Sully home, the birds begin their morning song, peacefully waking up the village. A once quiet camp comes to life again, slowly, the sound of children's raspy cries for mother, and sleepless mother's soothing murmurs echo from the near distance. I pause, taking in this moment of peace. Seemingly mundane moments like these I often took for granted, but now they are my favorite moments. I close my eyes, wanting to capture the sounds of home, I want to remember it like this.

A rustling sound brings me back to myself, I look over and see movement inside the Sully's home. I quietly walk up to the hut, no one is in the main living area, so I climb on top of the canopy which leads to the hammock areas. I kneels on the canopy, and pick up one of Tuk's dolls, examining it. The doll is very similar to one I had as a child, my father carved it out of wood. Tuk's doll was well used, but taken care of, but its age was shown through the dents in the wood, the face didn't have much shape anymore. "Good morning, ma'paskalin." Neytiri says softly stepping onto the canopy, I smile sweetly up to her. She walks so elegantly towards me, and squats by my side.

"I used to have a doll much like this, my father made it for me." I say, brushing my hand over it, a wave of nostalgia washing over me. Neytiri touches the doll in my hands.

"This one belonged to my sister." She says somberly, a tear beginning to well in her left eye as she stares longingly at the doll.

"Good morning!" Tuk whisper shouts as she runs to hug us. "Are you playing with my toys?"

"We were admiring how pretty your doll is." I explain, handing Tuk her doll.

"Morning." Jake says, stretching as he steps onto the canopy. He makes his way down to the main room. Sounds of pans clanking come from below me. He must be making breakfast. This family is so cute.
