GAVI WATCHED Y/N with heart eyes, he was more than in love with y/n. he needed her, but he couldn't have her. at least not right now
y/n was currently dating pablo torre, gavi's teammate. gavi knew y/n didn't want to date him. she didn't look happy with him, she was happy with gavi the two loved each other. even torre knew
"gavi stop looking at her" pedri said, pedri always felt bad for gavi. everyone knew gavi was in love with y/n even pablo torre but pablo didn't seem to care
pablo dated y/n to get back at gavi, pablo liked y/n at the beginning but mutually they stopped liking each other. after months of basically fake dating when y/n tried to break up with pablo he got mad and said that she owed him after he lied to her parents many times so she could see gavi while they were "dating"
but pablo and gavi never got along, gavi wanted to be friends but pablo didn't want anything to do with gavi. gavi got mad one day because pablo kicked a football into his face so he drew on his very expensive cleats
cleats are ruining two peoples happiness, kinda dumb
"i cant stop looking at her, he's only doing this because of his stupid cleats. i bought new ones" gavi complained watching as y/n removed pablo's hand that was almost holding hers
he heard her say something and next thing gavi knew him, pedri and y/n were sitting on the bench until 9pm
it's been almost an hour now of gavi and pedri complaining to y/n about her relationship, gavi and y/n wanted to date each other they were in love
"y/n seriously stop being dumb and leave his ass" pedri said slumping back so his back hit the fence behind him
"i did"
"honestly-" gavi started but quickly stopped once he heard y/n, he looked over at pedri
"wait what? you two were basically holding hands like a few hours ago" pedri spoke causing gavi to agree still confused
"his parents don't know. we broke up 2 weeks ago i told him i can't be with him anymore because i'm in love with someone else. i cant be with someone i don't like" y/n spoke gavi smiled a bit but hiding it by coughing
"andddd?" pedri asked like a little boy. "he was a bit upset at first but understood." y/n finished
pedri looked at y/n disappointed, "y/n i was hoping to hear a "gavi i can be with you" "gavi we can be together" not some dumb talk about torre" pedri complained, gavi looked at pedri hinting for him to go away
he rolled his eyes and got up to walk away
gavi looked over at y/n and smiled, gavi held y/n's hand. "we can finally be together, i never thought this would happen" gavi said quietly
y/n smiled, "neither did i but you never even asked me to be your girlfriend" y/n said
"you already know you are, you knew you were the moment you broke up with him" gavi said
