adthiya pov:
Who can sleep this early? It's so hot here how am I supposed to sleep? I tried to rest, but sleep eludes me.
Suddenly, she walked into the room.
"Do you want anything? Why haven't you slept yet? " she asked while approaching me.
"Who can sleep in this room? There's no AC," I replied while sitting on my bed.
"I understand it's hot compared to what you're used to, but what can I do about it? " she said, yawning.
"You could take that hand fan and fan some air," I suggested as I lay down. She picked up the hand fan and sat on a stool near my bed. I knew she was in a sleepy state, yet she continued without any irritation.
Silence hung between us, and I wasn't sure how to break it. "Why do you always use bad language when you're angry? " she finally spoke, and I just glared at her.
"When did I use bad words? "
"You've done it many times. Did you forget already? " she asked while fanning me.
"What word? "
"That word, fu. . . "
"Oh, that word. It's not a bad word; 'fucking' isn't bad," I said casually. She stopped fanning me and gave me a glare.
"Why did you stop? Keep doing it," i demanded, still glaring.
"Okay, sorry, I won't use that word again while I'm here," I replied. To me, it's just a word. I easily engage with any girl without thinking it's wrong, yet apologizing to her felt unusual.
"Why don't you try to control your anger? " she inquired.
"I won't control my anger; I always let it out on someone. There's no need for me to control it," I closed my eyes.
"How do you vent your anger on someone? Do you hit them? " I shook my head.
"By cursing them with bad words? " she asked again, i shake my head as no.
"By eating a lot of panipuri," she asked, opening my eyes. She was eagerly waiting for my response, prompting me to burst into laughter. After a while, she joined in the laughter.
I realized after some time that it had been years since I'd laughed with someone. While she kept laughing, she eventually noticed that I had stopped and went quiet.
"Oh, sorry! I tend to eat panipuri when I'm angry," she said slowly.
"Now tell me, how do you vent your anger? I really have no idea," she asked, full of curiosity, her eyes eager for my answer. Her curiosity was likely going to frustrate her.
"Trust me, you'll faint when you hear it," I replied. She looked at me doubtfully.
"I won't faint! Just tell me because I don't like surprises. Please, I'm bored with the panipuri method if you tell me, I might try your method. "
"I don't think so. You follow that method. . . " while I sit in bed. she is still on the stool. . .
"If you teach that method, I will follow," she said with a smile. . . I too wish I could teach her. . . I just don't want to spoil her innocence.
Parvathi's POV:
"What time do you sleep every day? " he asked, changing the subject.but i remain silent.
"Are you deaf? Or are you just pretending? If you were in my place, I would know how to make you speak," he said in a serious tone.
"But unfortunately, you are in my place," I replied, sticking my tongue out.
