Dev picked up Paru in a bridal style and began running toward the maid's room. Upon entering, he found three doctors and five nurses awaiting him, all looking flustered.

"Sir, please place her here," one doctor instructed. Dev was taken aback to see such top doctors from the city present. He nodded and gently laid Paru on the bed. Just as he was about to remove her duppatta, a nurse stopped him.

"Sir, we will take care of that. Even the male doctor is not allowed to touch her. It's per the sir's orders," the nurse explained.

Dev felt his head start to spin, unable to comprehend what Adhitya was thinking.

"What are you thinking, man? You're unpredictable," Dev muttered to himself as he awaited the doctors to finish their treatment.

After some time, the doctor stepped out of the room.

"How is she, doctor? Is everything alright? Is there any problem? " Dev inquired.

"No, there's no problem. It's just an external injury nothing to worry about. She'll be fine after two trips," the doctor replied.

"Thank you, doctor. "

"Okay, I need to leave now. I have to report her medical condition to sir," the doctor stated, raising Dev's concerns.

"No need I can inform him about this. You can go now. "

"Actually, sir instructed us to report to him personally. I don't want to risk my life," the doctor replied, exiting.

"What are you thinking, Adhitya? who is she to you?" Dev thought.

Dev entered the room again. Parvati lay on the bed, her head bandaged, He quietly sat beside her.

Dev's POV:

Seeing her in that state filled my heart with immense pain. The first day I saw her in that village, I fell completely in love with her, she remind me my death sister who died at young age. It was her silence that captivated me.

Adhitya was treating her nicely, but I couldn't decipher his intentions toward her. One thing was clears she was not his type; she didn't match his status, beauty level, or class. I knew Adhitya likely didn't like her, but his behavior confused me.

After today, I realized Adhitya had no feelings for her because she was Deepa's sister. He would never accept a betrayer. Part of me felt relieved, while another part was scared of how he might punish Paru for Deepa's actions. She ended up in bed on the first day.

I gently stroked her hair, saying,

"Don't be afraid; I will be there for you. . .  as a brother I won't let Adthiya punish you. "

Just as I was about to kiss her forehead, my phone rang it was Adthiya.

"What's going on, Adthiya? "

"COME TO MY OFFICE NOW," he roared from the other end.

"It's already late. . . " Before I could finish, Adthiya disconnected the call.

"Always in a stubborn mood. "

Adthiya's office:

He sat in his chair, drinking, his eyes dark red from excessive drinking. A knock on the door snapped him back to reality.

"Come in," he said in a sober tone.

Dev entered and was shocked by Adthiya's condition. For a moment, he felt scared for him.

"Adthiya, what happened to you? Is something wrong? " Dev asked,

"Did you get any information about Ajay and Deepa? " Adthiya inquired seriously.
