Adthiya was smoking while staring at the photos on the table. His eyes were fixed on one particular image, filled with rage. It captured Paru and Dev enjoying pani puri, smiling in almost every shot. One photo showed Parvathi eating pani puri, with Dev looking at her affectionately. Anyone who saw it would think they were a lovely couple. Slowly, Adthiya began tearing the picture in two, separating Paru from Dev.

"Vinoth, come to my office," Adthiya said.

After a while, Vinoth arrived.

"Yes, Adthiya...? "

"Did you finish the work I asked you? " Adthiya inquired, smoke curling around him.

"Yes, Adthiya. I've arranged everything for tonight. Everyone is ready for your plan; I just need to inform Dev. "

Adthiya paused for a moment.

"Don't mention this to Dev. He has another mission to attend to," Adthiya instructed. Vinoth was confused, as it was the first time Adthiya was keeping his plans from Dev.

"Send her here," Adthiya ordered.

"Okay," Vinoth replied and left.

After some time, a soft knock reached his ears.

"Come in. "

With evident fear, Parvathi entered his study. Adthiya's eyes burned with anger as he watched her.

"Sir, did you call me? " she asked, glancing downwards.

He threw a box at her; she flinched as it hit her roughly.

"Take that and wear it for tonight's party. "

Upon hearing "party," she quickly responded,

"NO! I won't go to the party," her voice filled with defiance. Adthiya smirked knowingly at her expected refusal.

Parvathi had heard many things about parties on television, how young people drank and enjoyed themselves; she despised that.

"I'm not asking you I'm ordering you to wear that dress and come," he said sternly.

"But..."

He slammed his hand on the table. She flinched.

Without another word, she left, her face sad.

"You'll face your punishment, Paru, for spending time with Dev," he said with a smirk, watching her retreating figure.

Parvathi's POV:

"Ratchasan," I muttered under my breath. I headed to my room, feeling defeated, knowing I had to prepare for the party. Once inside, I threw the box harshly onto my bed.

He had many ways to torment me. I hated this party, and he wouldn't even listen to me.

I sat on my bed, anxiety creeping in as I wondered what he had planned for me at the party. I opened the box, and shock and fear engulfed me upon seeing the dress inside.

"What does he think of himself? Did he think I would wear this kind of thing? I won't wear this dress, even if he beats me or burns me alive," I said to myself, fear and tears in my eyes.

I started to cry, unsure of how to tell him that I wouldn't wear it. "Please, Durga Ma, please help me. " Just then, my phone began to ring. Dev had given me a mobile to contact him whenever I needed help.

I answered his call.

"Hello, Parvathi. "

"Hello, Dev. . . tell me," I responded between sobs.
