Adthiya stepped into the room where Parvathi was confined. Upon hearing the sound of the door creaking open, Parvathi raised her gaze her eyes filled with terror and she began to weep uncontrollably. He approached her, gripping a knife in his hand. With a rough motion  he rested one leg on the arm of her chair where her hand was also bound. She was hiccuping as she tried to stifle her sobs.

"Please. . . " her voice was barely a whisper, inaudible to him.

"Tell me why you were wandering around here," he demanded in a cool, steady tone while bringing the knife dangerously close to her face. Parvathi shook her head attempting to push the knife away.

"Don't resist too much. . . it could be detrimental if I lose my composure," he warned.

Her tears flowed freely, and she cried as she struggled to keep from losing control. Turning her head to the right, she shut her eyes tightly upon seeing the corpse of that man, his eyeballs left on the ground.

"He saw what he shouldn't have. . . thus, this is his punishment. "

"And YOU ALSO DID THE SAME. . . I believe the punishment should be identical," he stated while sitting down on a stool directly before her.

"Please, I swear I didn't see anything. . . I. . . I just. . . " she stammered, grappling with her lies.

"I despise traitors and liars," he remarked, toying with her fingers. Her body shivered at his gentle touch as he caressed her fingers softly.

"I truly didn't observe or hear anything concerning Deepa. . . " she blurted out in a panic, her fear overwhelming her. He halted the caressing of her fingers and lifted his gaze to her his expression icy.

In an instant, he seized her jaw with his hand.

"What the hell did you think? Do I look like a fool to you? I believe my leniency towards you is the reason we're here," he spat angrily, bringing the knife perilously close to her eyes, halting just an inch away. Her eyes remained frozen, unblinking, stuck in shock.

"I wouldn't even flinch if my wife became blind. . . In fact, I took extra care since she lost her sight," he bellowed.

"Speak. "

"I. . . I. . . " Her breathing was heavy from shock and fear, and the words wouldn't come. Tears streamed down her face as her chest rose and fell rapidly from sheer terror.

"I want to see my parents. . . and I want to see my brother and sister. . . please, I want to go home. . . please," she sobbed like a young child yearning for their parent's presence.

"You are no longer a child. You are not bound to your parents and siblings anymore. You are capable of carrying a child within you, and in just one month, YOU WILL BE CARRYING MY CHILD. . . so stop crying like a little kid," he asserted.

"I won't let you leave my side for your entire life," he growled.

"I don't hold your child while feeling disgusted. Why should I remain here when my sister isn't to blame? I no longer have any connection with you. I will leave," she murmured softly, her voice trembling with fear.

He tightened his jaw and fists. His furrowed brow and flaring nostrils revealed his fury at her words. He began to undo the ropes forcefully and seized her wrist, pulling her into the room. Upon entering the elevator, she squirmed vigorously, trying to escape his grip.
