adthiya pov:
I was observing her features... she lay in deep slumber... her face rested against my chest as I held her close, and even though she embraced me, my smile faded... I realized that her actions stemmed from genuine kindness, not love for me... because her hug, her kiss nothing implied romance;it was simply her compassionate nature wanting to support me. She didn't drool over my abdomen, nor did she lose her composure in my kiss not once did she show shyness, which pains me even more...
how could she maintain such control? It shocks me, and it suggests that her feelings for that jerk are significantly stronger... that's likely why she remained composed even after I kissed her with intense passion... she returned the kiss, yet it felt devoid of emotion, like mere resuscitation... that hurt deeply.
"adthiya," I heard Vinoth's voice... I turned toward him and saw him along with a few of my associates standing nearby... I suspected the door had been opened... all their gazes were fixed on Paru.
"OUT. "
Upon hearing my command, she jolted awake, glancing at them in panic, and instantly clung to me tighter as she attempted to shield herself from their view.
"I SAID OUT," I reiterated, and they all exited.
"Relax, no one is going to see you... only I have that privilege," I whispered in her ear... she punched me firmly on the chest.
"Move, I think you're fine now that's why you're back to your typical perverted self," she remarked.
"Ouch, that stings, Paru," I responded with feigned agony... I released her and rose, putting on my shirt... I noticed she was covering herself with the blanket.
"Can you please hand me that top? " she asked, her gaze downward... I chuckled at her.
"Why should I? It's yours you can take it if you want," I said as I began to walk away.
"Idiot... I think you don't understand the word HELP" she said in a low voice.
"I think you're using that word 'idiot' a bit too often on me," I replied, picking up her top and passing it to her... she stayed silent.
I studied her with a smirk.
"What? " she inquired.
"Change, we need to head out or if you prefer you can stay her I have no issue with that," I stated.
"You're definitely an idiot if you want me to change then turn around why are you staring at me like that? " she replied.
"There's nothing remarkable to conceal... everything is quite average don't show that attitude," I replied sharply... her request for me to turn around ignited my frustration... how can she ask her husband to look away? I have every damn right over her.
I heard her sobbing and turned to see her crying once more. It pained me to witness her tears. She looked down, and the sight of her weeping hurt deeply. I despised her crying expression.
Without a word, I turned away.
"I'm ready we can leave now," she spoke with a trembling voice. I glanced back at her but she only stared at the ground.
We both began to exit.
"Vinoth make sure she gets to the mansion safely. I need to head somewhere," I instructed. Quietly, she followed Vinoth without a glance back at me, which frustrated me even more.
After a while.
"Dev, search every location for Ram. No matter what happens, I want him alive," I commanded.
