Aadthiya was sound asleep in bed, wrapped in her bedsheet. He had carefully placed the album in its spot just before Parvathi entered the room.
Parvathi's POV:
As I entered the room, I noticed he was sleeping, covered with the bedsheet. Just yesterday, he mentioned how hot the weather was here, yet now he was sleeping in the afternoon under the bedsheet. I took a seat in a chair and started reading a book, as I enjoy reading.
After a while, I heard a groaning sound and approached him. He was waking up and sweating quite a bit, so I placed my hand on his forehead to check his temperature.
"Do you have a fever? You should have told me," I said.
"It's just a fever," he replied casually.
"I think your wound might be getting infected. I'll get some medicine for you. " I headed to the kitchen to find food for him, but it was gone the meal I had prepared was missing. I searched each vessel one by one.
"What are you looking for, Paaru? " my mother asked.
"Mom, where's the food I made this morning? " I inquired.
"Oh, I already gave it to Druga Di. I knew you prepared it for her birthday, so I gave it to her," my mother explained.
Oh no, I had cooked for him, but my mom ruined it all. What will he eat now? Since he was already burning with fever, I decided to prepare some porridge for him.
I went back to my room, where he was sitting up in bed. I handed him the bowl, and he looked at me.
"Sorry, this is all I have for now," I said. He continued to glare at me.
"I had prepared a special meal for you, but my mother mistakenly thought it was for my friend and gave it to her. I'm really sorry please make do with this for today," I said, and he just smiled at me.
"It's okay, I don't want to eat right now. Just give me the tablet," he replied.
"It's not good for your stomach to take medicine on an empty stomach," I cautioned.
"I know my body just give me the tablet, Paru. . . Don't provoke me," he said, his voice rough as he closed his eyes, clearly annoyed. I had no choice, so I handed him the tablet.
"Now sleep we need to leave at 5, so you can rest for an hour," I suggested. He didn't respond, just lay back down. I tried to pull the bedsheet away from him, but he grasped it roughly.
"It's mine. . . and I haven't washed it. I gave you a fresh bedsheet," I argued. He ignored me and drifted back to sleep. covering himself with bedsheet.
At 5 PM, I checked his temperature; it was normal. Unsure whether to wake him, I hesitated but gently patted his shoulder. He abruptly grabbed my wrist.
"Don't touch me without my permission. . . " he said as he walked away to the restroom. His words filled me with anger, and I quickly approached him, taking hold of his hand to make him turn towards me. I looked into his eyes.
"I'm not dying to touch you. . . I was just checking your temperature," I replied in a stern voice. How could I remain silent after he said that? He merely smirked and pulled his hand away from my grasp.
He bent down to my level, gazing deeply into my eyes, and I found it hard to maintain my gaze. "Don't talk to me like that. . . otherwise, you won't like the consequences," he warned.
Aadithya's POV:
Today, I felt irritated I refused to accept that this was our last day together. I needed to do something to keep her with me, which is why I scolded her when she told me to eat porridge.
