It was now a week since Aziyah had been in the hospital and the tension between the couple was still there. Travon felt as though it was his duty to protect her and when she disagreed about living arrangements his ego was shattered. On the other hand she felt that he was pressing the issue too much. Yes, she understood the reasoning behind it but in the back of her head she felt it was also a reasoning on why they should have separate housing.
She was made aware of the conversation her father and Travon had but didn't know all the details. All she knew was that he was supposed to look after her from now and on.
But now this energy transferred from the hospital to his house. He was still very attentive and was taking great care of Aziyah but there was still that lingering attitude that he had kept from hearing her response.
"Lonni I understand why he asked but I'm not rushing anything. I wanna give it time because yea we are a couple but there are still doubts at hand" Aziyah said on the phone with Alonnah.
"I know what you mean but not everyone is Jarell and not everyone is going to treat you the same. He loves you and I see why he still got that attitude because you can't see how bad he felt about the accident"
Surprised that her sister came at her in such an aggressive way, she calmed herself down thinking about what she was going to say next.
"I know he's not Jarell nor will he ever be him but I'm not going to force myself in a place I don't want to be" she replied.
"I feel you sis but you never gone get nowhere if you don't take a risk"
"Alonnah I'm not you. I don't jump into shit quickly after meeting a person for two weeks." Aziyah snapped back at her response.
"Oh so that's how you really feel. Ok bye Aziyah hope you keep healing" Alonnah retorted hanging up before Aziyah could apologize.
Deep down Aziyah honestly didn't feel bad about how she came at Alonnah. She felt the pressure from everyone that kept questioning her resonant for not wanting to move in with him.
It was beginning to drain her.
As well as she just got out of being in the hospital her main focus wasn't that. She was more focused on getting better.
"I don't get why everyone's so concerned about my fucking relationship, like damn mind your fucking business" she said to herself while Travon walked in the door.
"Whatchu talking bout mama?" he questioned looking at her confused.
"Everyone who got something to say about my personal decisions. It's nobody business but ours and I don't understand why mfkas concerned about me. Needa worry about their own relationship" she began venting while Travon sat down next to her.
