It had been exactly two months since the 'meeting' at the abandoned building and things seemed to be going well.
The incident had been reported on the news which made Aziyah wonder what Travon had been doing that night since he was gone around the time everything had been reported.
He constantly reassured her that he had nothing to do with that, wanting to keep things separate.
While Aziyah was a bit relieved that Jarell was dead she was also a bit saddened.
She had spent four years with him and really cared for him besides everything he put her through. But she soon let go wanting to move on with her life and move forward with things.
Both of their birthdays had passed and they didn't want to do anything to extravagant since Aziyah was still recovering and they wanted to plan a huge trip.
Besides that they were now getting ready for Mila's gender reveal. It was an exciting moment for Aziyah since she planned it with Milo as well as being the godmother of the child.
So as of the moment they were at the venue setting up last minute touches with the planner. It was a bear themed gender reveal since Makai loved the animal and Mila thought it would be cute set up.
"So this should be placed here instead of on the tables" Aziyah told the helpers referring to the balloons.
She was excited but stressed because in an hour the party would begin and the caterers still hadn't come to set up yet.
Milo had called multiple times but there was no answer from them.
"What the fuck" Milo exclaimed.
"What happened Milo?" Aziyah asked tidying up some of the bear pieces.
"So the caterer just called me back and said the food would be done in two hours but we literally have to start the baby shower in an hour" Milo replied rolling her eyes.
"Oh my god" Aziyah said back crossing her arms.
"She betta be lucky that we all black because we know people gone be late as hell" Aziyah continued.
"I'm saying and plus Mila told us she was going to be late so she could have a grand entrance with her extra ass" Milo chuckled.
As time went by the continued doing the finishing touches but luckily enough the caterer was able to get there 10 minutes before people started coming in.
"Wassup ma how you doing?" Travon said walking up to Aziyah giving her a kiss and handing their gifts they bought to Milo.
"Hey baby a little tired but I'm ok" she replied giving him a hug.
Travon didn't know the gender even though he wanted Aziyah to tell him multiple times she would budge. So he bought fender neutral clothes instead.
"Heyyy Von where Elijah at?" Milo questioned popping a grape in her mouth while looking over the room.
