Taylor lay down, staring at the ceiling while hugging the teddy bear Joe had given her during their first trip to the fair.

That was a fun time.

As she thought of the memories they shared at that fair, it made her cry more. Joe was leaving in—she looked at the clock on the wall—exactly thirty-six hours...

She let out a sad sigh and turned on her side to go to sleep when suddenly, she heard a knock coming from her window.

She jumped up and looked outside, seeing Joe, smiling brightly.

She opened the latch and let him in, putting a finger to her lips.

He nodded and mirrored the action.

Taylor shut the window and hugged him tightly, not wanting to let him go.

"I'm gonna miss you a lot, Taylor," he whispered, tearing up slightly.

"What do you think I'm feeling?" Taylor buried her head in his chest.

"I'm sorry I've gotta leave, Taylor."

"No, it's okay, I get it."

"I know you do," Joe paused. "but I want to make these last thirty hours the best of your life."

   "Thirty-six."

Joe rubbed her back comfortingly. "Go change, my love. I'm taking you on a trip,"

Taylor looked up at him with bright blue eyes.

   "Where are we going?"

"A place with starlight," he said softly.

A/N:
Ok so I'm gonna make a part two to this because it's been so long since my last actual update and I wanted to at least let you know I'm not dead.
