Sat 6:43 AMTaylor hovered over Joe, hands on the headboard to support herself. As he slept, she watched the slow rise and fall of his chest. She was so close to him, she could feel his breath on her face. She hadn't been able to sleep for the past hour, so why wait to wake him up? But since it was April Fools, she had something planned. Ever since she woke up at about five, there was now one thing and only one thing she looked forward to; hiding in the kitchen cabinet.
She leaned down even more and woke him up with an innocent little kiss, to which, of course, his eyes fluttered open and she found herself staring. His eyes were so beautiful it was impossible not to get lost, but that was for another day. He was still half-asleep, which is exactly what she'd planned. She stood up from the bed, tapped his shoulder and whispered, "Joe, wake up,"
Then, she ran down the stairs to the kitchen, where she'd emptied out a cabinet just big enough for her to fit in. She heard the sink running from upstairs and quickly climbed in, shutting the door.
She couldn't help but giggle at the thought of him really waking up to this.
His footsteps echoed from the stairs and she shut her mouth.
"Taylor?" he called out to her, rubbing his eyes. "Taylor, love, where are you?" He dragged out his ''you'' very whiningly, leaning on the kitchen island.
"Taylor!" he called again. "If you don't come out, no kisses the rest of the day," he sing-sang.
Taylor very audibly gasped. How dare he!?
She climbed out from the cabinet and stood up on her tip-toes as she reached the spot in front of him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down to kiss him. She pulled away with a playful huff. "Fine,"
