frankie de jong: best friends to lovers

frenkie has been my best friend for almost 3 years now. i've liked him ever since i moved to barcelona and bumped into him, my life changed forever.

now, frenkie was coming over to my house because ever since i got an oculus he couldn't stay off of it.

frenkie wenkie:
i'll see you in 5

i unlocked the door so he could come in and set up the oculus for him. a few minutes later the door swung open and frenkie cane running into the room.

" is it ready?!"

" yeah," i sighed, " i already set it up for you."

" thanks." he ran over to the couch and put the headset on. i had cast my phone to the screen so i could see what he was seeing. i set up his favorite horror game and as he walked through the front door and into the horror house he was already screaming.

" frenkie calm down you literally just started!"

" i know, i know."

frenkie and me spent a while on the oculus. after he died, i tried and got a bit further than him. now it was back to his turn. he was so adorable when he got scared. i liked him so much but i know it would never work between us. he was a famous footballer and i was just a girl living in barcelona.

" frenkie?"

" yeah? did i miss something?"

" no, no you didn't," i took a deep breath, this was my shot. i walked up to him and kissed him on the lips, something i've wanted to do for ages. i slowly opened my eyes, scared to see his reaction. he slowly took off the headset and smashed his lips against mine.

there we were, a famous footballer kissing a girl living in barcelona. it was almost, perfect. when we finally broke apart he spoke first,

" i've wanted to do that ever since i met you."

" really, me too."

" i've loved you ever since the first time we made eye contact." at that i wrapped my arms around his neck. before i leaned in i had to add,

" ditto."
