My mind kept racing with thoughts about Hailee and how much I missed her. So I picked up my phone from the bedside table to send a quick text to her.

I waited patiently for her to come home. I wanted to see her and not have to feel empty without her. Hailee has been working so hard lately and I couldn't be more proud of her and what she's accomplished. I just need her sometimes. I heard the door shut and Hailee's sweet voice singing to herself. She came up the stairs and smiled as she walked into the room.

"Hello beautiful." Hailee said, her warm breath tickling my ear as she lied beside me in our bed. I could feel her body heat radiating off her as she lay there next to me, and I couldn't help but smile. She was always so warm and comforting, and I loved her so much for it.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked.

"You, of course." I reached out to brush a stray lock of hair away from her face. "What about me?" she asked, her voice soft and sweet. "Everything." I whispered, before leaning in to kiss her. Whenever I was with Hailee, not a single thought would come to mind other than her. She was the only thing I focused on.

She took my hand and held it in hers, guiding it gently toward her chest. I watched as she slowly rested my hand on her heart, feeling her steady beat beneath my fingertips. Hailee smiled at me knowingly. I felt a rush of warmth flood my body as I realized she was telling me where I was. "You are my home" Hailee whispered.

I felt my cheeks go red at the sound of those words. I let my head fall gently into her chest, and her arms wrapped around me in a warm embrace. "My sweet girl." She whispered. I looked up at her, our eyes locked. She smiled and kissed my forehead. We were in our own little world, and it was the perfect place to be.

"I want to marry you one day, and put that ring on your finger and spend the rest of my life with you." Hailee ran her fingers through my hair as she spoke, and her eyes were filled with love. I smiled and kissed her gently. We sat in silence for a moment, admiring each other.

"I'm glad we both want the same thing, babe." I wrapped my arms around her and leaned my head against hers.

I pulled Hailee in closer, feeling her warm, soft body against me. I buried my face in her hair and inhaled her sweet scent. "I will love you forever, and always." She whispered in my ear, bringing me even closer. Our lips touched softly, and I felt like I could stay like that, holding her forever. I could feel our hearts beating as one, and I knew that no matter what, we would always be together.
