A/N: Sorry for long awaited update...all I can say about this one is just wow and wow and wow and more wow

I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around my legs. I rested my chin on the top of my knees, and sighed as the bad replays of yesterday night with my boyfriend, Dylan. I felt tears start falling down my cheeks, thinking about the things he said, and the way he had touched me.

Then, there was a light knock at the door and I cocked my head up to see Kate, standing in the doorway with a smile on her face. She walked closer to me and her smile instantly dropped, and quickly walked towards me.

"Who, what, where, and when?" Kate asked, sitting down next to me on the bed.

"Kate-" I sighed, shaking my head.

"I want a name, now." Kate leaned her body forward as she spoke.

"Kate, please." I waved her off and lowered my head, "You don't need to get involved."

Kate sighed and clenched her jaw and rested her hands in her lap, "Well, can you at least tell me why you are crying?"

I sighed and lifted my head up to look at Kate, "You know Dylan, right?"

"Yeah, that douchebag you're with?" Kate rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I prefer to think he doesn't exist."

"Kate, this is not the time!" I spoke with a higher tone, slamming my hand on the mattress. "Just say something useful for once!"

"So what do you want me to say, huh? Please tell me what the hell I am supposed to say? I have to watch my best friend get sucked into a relationship with some bullshit slob who barely does anything with his life!" Kate stood up, pointing her finger at me.

"I hear you crying in your room every single night after you come home from his house. Do you know how much that breaks my heart?"

I sat there, staring at her as I tried to form a sentence, but nothing came out. I just sat there. Kate rested her hands at her and scoffed, shaking her head as the tears formed in her eyes.

"You have nothing to say, do you? Well, here's a little more. I've loved you ever since we became friends. I hoped and hoped that maybe there was one little chance that we'd be together. No, you decided to throw your life away with someone else."

"Kate! He fucking beat me!" I blurted out, feeling tears well up in my eyes.

I watched as Kate's features gradually etched with panic. She slowly walked over to me and sat next to me. "When?" She asked quietly.

"Last night, we had a few drinks and he started getting touchy and I kept saying no and he didn't listen. The more I said no, the more he would do and then he started getting agressive-"

"Stop, I don't want to hear aboout it anymore." Kate spoke up, cutting me off. She let out an exhale from her nose and clenched her jaw. "I'm going to fucking kill him. I'm getting my bow, I'll be back in 20 minutes."

I rested my hand on Kate's thigh to stop her from getting up. Our eyes locked, "Kate, please don't kill him. I don't want you getting anyone's blood on your hands."

Kate's eyes fell to my lips and shifted back to my eyes, "I want to hurt him so bad, I wanna tear him apart." She sighed and cupped my face in her hand. "At least he didn't ruin your pretty face."

"Kate, you're the worst for timing." I chuckled, staring into her eyes for a moment as I bit my bottom lip. Forgetting about what had happened to me last night as I stared into her eyes. "Is it true what you said? That you've loved me since we became friends?"
