The news of your departure reach Kirishima after his normal class ended and you're already long gone, in a car and on your way to Tokyo. He wished to have bid you goodbye before you left, especially after yesterday's events, but he knows that you're not one for goodbyes.

"Focus Shitty Hair!"

The call comes too late and Bakugou sends a blast towards Kirishima, catching the red head off guard and completely knocking him over. "If you can't give it your all then get out of my face!" He knows that his blonde friend only means the best, even if his way of communicating his worry is a little more on the rough side.

"Sorry, Bakugou! I didn't get much sleep."

He apologizes quickly before exclaiming that he's going to take a break. The blonde scoffs and frowns while the red head walks away, returning to his individual training now that his sparring partner is out of the way. Kirishima truthfully didn't get much sleep, despite your reassurance he kept thinking about that curse and how he couldn't do anything at that moment. Even now thinking about it sends shivers down his spine.

He sighs in exhaustion, hanging his head between his knees. He still has a long way to go before being able to call himself a hero, and he has an even longer way before being able to exorcize curses by himself. His training as a hero could never have prepared him for the life of a sorcerer, not even with all of the villain attacks he's been through. All for One gave him chills, but that curse had something else about it. From looking straight out of the uncanny valley to its immense strength and speed despite its physical appearance. All for One is just a man with loads of quirks stuffed into one body, meaning at the end of the day he's still human. The curse from yesterday came into existence because of the stress and frustration of the students and teachers at school, with infinite room to grow and evolve.

Had he been able to move through the fear, Kirishima might have been able to assist you, but his shock inevitably lead to you getting injured. And while you did use your ability and healed all of your wounds, Kirishima still feels like he's responsible for them in the first place.

"Something on your mind, young Kirishima?"

All Might appears next to his, smiling down at the boy. Kirishima smiles back, greeting his teacher kindly. For a second he tries to come up with a lie, but he quickly remembers that All Might knows of you and your work.

"I'm just exhausted because I didn't get much sleep."

"How come?"

"I saw a curse yesterday. A big one, not like the small ones hiding in bushes."

All Might frowns, lips drawing tight. "It was a first grade. It scared me a little." Shamefully the boy admits his fears, rubbing the back of his neck while sheepishly smiling to himself. Kirishima knows that All Might can't see curses, only with the help of special glasses. So, unlike him, the blonde doesn't get to see the little creatures hanging around students, pestering throughout their day with little noises and annoying whispers. If he knew how to get rid of them secretly, he would. But sadly, as of now, he's unaware how to exorcize curses without squashing them in his fists or stepping on them with his feet.

"I was so scared I couldn't move at all, and in the end, I became a hindrance."

"It couldn't have been that bad, right?"

"No All Might, I don't think you understand." The boy shakes his head, staring at the space between his feet with wide eyes, the events of yesterday replaying in his mind.

"It was unlike anything I've seen before. The moment I looked at it, my body became so heavy, like something was pushing me down. And my breathing got restricted. Every muscle in my body was tense and unmoveable. Not even All for One made me as scared as that thing."
