Three months into the new year, and things are already starting to go to hell again.

A warning is all you got. A reminder that Kirishima will be absent during this particular day. What was happening and where he and all the teachers and hero course students were going was kept a secret from you. Even Toshinori was able to stay silent this time around.

They kept it so exceptionally well hidden, that it came to no surprise to the blonde retired hero – who was against leaving you in the dark from the beginning – when you lost your absolute shit when the raid was not only unsuccessful but ended up with Kirishima in the hospital. Of course, he wasn't hurt badly, he had some scrapes and bruises and was discharge not even a day after everything went down, but that fact didn't stop you from tearing down the principal's door.

"Wasn't that the deal?! That I pretend to be a teacher here?! A councillor for the students! I was part of the faculty, and I deserved to know!"

Nobody in the room has the guts to hold you back as you unsheathe your sword and hold it against Nezu's neck.

"You're sending children into this, knowing they could get hurt or worse!"

The thought of teens having to go through war is always something you're very passionate about. Not only because you yourself went through terrible things as a child, but also because you've seen the Jujutsu Tech kids go through the exact same. You know why Nezu refrained from telling you about the raid. You would have done anything to stop the students from tagging along to the fight, especially Kirishima. But they wouldn't have been able to tear the boy out of your grasp no matter how hard they tried. That's why he didn't inform you, why none of the teachers told you. And why Kirishima didn't mention it.

"Gojo-san, please calm yourself, and let's discuss this like civil people."

"To hell with that! I'm not having a discussion with you! I don't even wanna know what insane thought could have convinced you that this was a good idea to begin with!"

You're screaming at Nezu only, but the remaining teachers in the room, those that aren't terribly injured or dead, feel like they're being screamed at too.

"You're all crazy! No teen should be going through any of this. I knew from the beginning that a hero school is just a cover up for fucked up people like you to make soldiers out of these kids!"

Your blade is trembling as you hold it out, fists tightly clutched around the hilt. It's one thing teaching teens to exorcize curses, it's another to train them to take on other humans. You can get behind Jujutsu Tech, you understand the importance of sorcerers and clans and teaching them young. But the children here have to business being paired up against S-class villains and criminals while barely knowing how to pay bills yet.

"I have been in this industry for a decade and I've seen a lot of fucked up shit, but nothing quite compares to you and your school."

Even your voice is trembling now, shaking from emotions. Anger, mostly. But the underlying tone of it is full of fear. Fear for Kirishima and what could have happened. You're well acquainted with death, and you know very well how fast it can come and claim the life of someone that doesn't deserve to go yet. "You disgust me.." You spit your words like venom, making sure every adult in the room feels the heaviness of each letter and syllable.

"I can't do this anymore."

You retract your sword from Nezu's neck and immediately there's a collective deep breath from every teacher as you turn back and walk towards the door. None of them follow except for one.

"Please hear us out... the principal had his reasons to send the students along."

Toshinori is struggling to keep up with you, feeling his exhaustion take over his body with each step he takes closer to your form. He had spent hours in the hospital next to Midoriya's bedside, and a couple more before that worrying about the raid's outcome.
