True to your words you walk through UA's gates the next morning, way before the sun is starting to rise. After spending hours around the stadium, you took the late train back to Musutafu. And while you might not have gotten any shut eye this night, you feel as good as you would with eight hours of sleep. All alone in the deserted stadium you talked to nothing, expressing your inner most feelings in hopes that Toji is there to hear them. You talked about everything that happened since August, ranging from saving the now retired Nr. One Hero to bringing your hero course student along to Tokyo to hang out with the people at Jujutsu Tech.

Had he been alive to hear your story, he wouldn't have believed you when you talked about cuddling up and watching trash TV together with Satoru and his students. Maybe Toji would have even laughed at the idea.

Either way, with your chest ten tons lighter and your mind at ease you make your way into the teacher's dorm building. Instead of going to your room to catch some well deserved and needed rest, you stay downstairs, watching TV as quietly as possible or scrolling through your phone. And when the sun starts to rise you heave yourself up from the couch to make yourself breakfast. With the little cooking skills you have you make a batch of mediocre pancakes and brew some fresh coffee to enjoy your morning.

It takes so little time to prepare and eat that you're out again before the other teachers wake up. But you make sure to leave them a note that says the rest of the pancakes and coffee is for them. You couldn't stand telling them in person and you hope none of them mention it later in the day. You just made too much and wasting food is an absolute no-go.

You take in the first sunrays of the new year by jogging around the school, cold air feeling like little needles stabbing into your skin as the wind whips against your face.

You don't stop until you're out of breath, keeling over as you pant, nose and cheeks red from the cold wind. Only when you push yourself to your limits are you satisfied. Normally you'd be doing some combat training after your run, but it's still too early to properly start training. Especially seeing as it's the first day of the new year, which should be a day of rest.

On the way back to the dorms, sun now shining through the treeline, you pass by the gate and main path to the school. Walking on it is Kirishima's green haired classmate Midoriya. He looks well rested and cold from the freezing air, cheeks red and eyes droopy. You don't plan on greeting him, but the boy already spotted you, waving and repeating your name a couple of times. He's by your side in no time.

"Good morning! Are you not with Kirishima?"

"He's either in bed or still at home."

"Didn't you spend New Years Eve with him?"

You shake your head, continuing your walk back to the dorms with the boy following next to you. He fills the empty space with comfortable chattering, talking about his time at home as well as his week spent at Endeavor's agency. You don't know who he's talking about but find it too hard to interrupt his rambling to ask.

"How rude of me! How was your week in Tokyo?"

"We had a good time."

"That's nice to hear." He smiles, eyes sparkling. "What did you do over the week?"

You think for a second of what to tell him but ultimately decide to answer truthfully. Midoriya doesn't seem like the kind of person to judge someone for having a lazy week.

"Watched a lot of trash TV and rom-coms. It was out of my control, before you ask. I didn't want to watch them."

He chuckles and smiles again, eyes directed at the ground in front of his feet. "Sounds like a great week."
