It Happens in a Blink

The gang had recently arrived at the Shalour City Pokémon Centre. Ash was obviously very nervous about his upcoming Gym Battle with Korrina and her Mega Lucario. They were all having dinner at the Pokémon Centre's cafeteria. Ash was looking very subdued while eating, causing Serena, Clemont and Bonnie to look at him, concerned. Suddenly, Ash dropped his fork with a clatter and stood up "I'm not hungry..." He announced. Serena, Bonnie and Clemont looked at him in shock. He was ALWAYS hungry! As Ash began to walk towards their Pokémon Centre room, Serena stood up as well "Ash, wait." Ash turned back around just in time to see Serena walking towards him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and gave him a tight hug. Ash hugged her back. They stayed like that for about 30 seconds, before Serena let go, but kept hold of both of Ash's hands "Ash, just know that I'm here for you." "Thanks, Serena. It means a lot." Ash replied, and left.

As soon as he arrived at the room. He sat down on the bed, and put his head in his hands. He wasn't thinking about the Gym Battle though. He was thinking about Serena. He had been getting some weird feeling around her lately and it concerned him. He didn't have any idea what the feeling was. Luckily, at that exact moment, a song came on the radio that made Ash realise something. "Am I...have I fallen in LOVE with Serena...?"

1/2 HOUR LATER

Ash heard a knock on the door. "Ash, are you okay? I thought you might want to talk now. I'm really worried about you..." It was Serena, speaking softly. Ash opened the door, and Serena flew in with another hug. This one lasted even longer, before Serena let go. They both say on the bed, and Serena wrapped her arm around Ash's neck and rested her head on his shoulder. "Serena...it's...not the Gym Battke I'm worried about..." Ash said. "What is it, Ash?" Serena whispered. "It's just...Ice been feeling...something...around you lately, and...actually, I've got a good way to SHOW you what I mean." Serena tilted her head up a little bit to look deep into his eyes, confused. To her surprise, Ash began to sing (A/N: If case you didn't guess, the sing Ash is about to sing is the same one he heard on the radio.)

Serena stared at him. Did that mean... "Serena...I...I love you..." Serena stared deep into his brown eyes. "Ash...I've loved you ever since we first met back at Summer Camp." Ash beamed, but suddenly became nervous "Serena...will you be my girlfriend? And satay with me forever?" Serena pecked him on the lips Arabs replied "Yes, Ash. Forever and always" Slowly they leaned, until finally their lips connected, and they kissed.
