"Just kill me now, please" Lucy pleaded barely conscious as blood seeped out from each wound that was all over her body
"Not yet butterfly.... not fucking yet" Nicola grimaced

Wedding dress shopping was something I wasn't excited for. My stepmother and aunt would just point out everything that is bad about me in a dress.
"You look fat in the dress"
"That dress looks hideous on you"
"You're going to bring shame to this family"
"This diet isn't working for you"
I was expecting to hear those and more coming out of their mouths. I rather do this alone then have them here and my half sister but my father insisted they come so they could find my half sister her bridesmaid dress even though I don't want her to be my bridesmaid. When we arrived to the bridal shop I sat down and let the ladies find the dresses. They wouldn't approve any I liked so I let them have free rein so I would have less of a headache. I tried on a bunch of dresses and ended up picking one that I hated the least. It was an off shoulder tulle dress with a long ass train and is incredibly heavy. They really don't want me to run away on my wedding day. Once we finished dress shopping I finally headed home and took a nap to help my headache. When I woke up from my nap I grabbed my late lunch and met Roman outside.
"My stellina, how was dress shopping?" He asked as we sat in my room. He started calling me little star in Italian because I always loved stargazing and the little skylight I have in my room.
"What do you think? Maribella told me I looked fat in practically all of the dresses and now I am on an even stricter diet that includes six am runs every day up until my wedding." Bitter laced my tone but it wasn't directed to him. I was just annoyed and angry with this whole situation.
"You're gonna need a guard on your run, I can figure out who it is going to be and try to switch so it's me" He suggested as I eagerly nodded my head. I rather have him on my unbearable run and Roman could make it somewhat bearable. "Thanks Roman, this is why we are family" I leaned on his shoulder as he pressed a small kiss on the top of my head.
"I love you lucy, you're the best Rossi to exist" Empathetic washed over him as he poked my dimples that only appear when I have a genuine smile. The fake smile I put on doesn't really show my dimples unless I am smiling with my teeth which I rarely do. I hate smiling with my teeth, even if I got braces when I was young I just had big front teeth. Roman and I talked about other things and he told me that Nico and his friend were going to join us for a Thanksgiving dinner. I had to mentally prepare to not only be near my family but my fiance.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a stupid holiday. There is no need to gather as a family to eat turkey which sucks in my opinion. I am wearing a plain burgundy dress that reaches above my knee with a white cardigan and small black booties. I know I was going to get attacked for my outfit because nothing pleases this family but I will just block them and zone out.
I grabbed the bottle of tequila along with a shot glass and poured myself a shot. I quickly drank it and didn't bother with the lime or salt because I wanted to feel the burn longer. My nerves were bad, I had to endure a dinner this time and not just mingling with other guest. I was being thrown into a wolves den and everyone is out for blood, specifically my blood. This dinner wouldn't end well and I don't know if my family is going to attack me or if they are going to keep their mouth shut for the sake of Nicolas.
